Essentially what we have is a huge map for $20 with nothing to do. The music is very relaxing to the point it was putting me to sleep. The game play is a big nothing burger. The map is a good place to start but charging $20 for a big map is not the way to go. The huge tree in the distance is rad and the fact that it is all walkable is also very cool but you can't just make a huge map, throw in some survival crafting and expect it to be a bestseller. https://youtu.be/10OzgZVSffw
Horrible first survival game i played this year
The game is in early stage, but so promising. The developper is very honest about whats there and whats not. For now the agenda is to test the game play and the mechanics. There are bugs, but the graphics are great and there is a lot of potential looking at all the features. I think its the first time I see a 1st person view survival set in a fantasy world, and I am looking forward to see more! I hope this game will develop and I definitely think the dev(s) deserve the support to get there!
pretty fun game. combat and exploration is pretty good. great graphics and the way fishing is done is pretty sick. there's lots of potential and hopefully developer updates frequently.
I am 32. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide. After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side. Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I didn't beat the game, or play nearly as long as some of you. In fact, I may have only played this game a day or two.. With that being said, after doing so, I had a new found joy and hope for life. I was able to put behind me the pain and suffering that had been cast over me. I was able to experience other peoples joy and happiness. I was able to see the fruits of my "labor". I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes to this music long enough to realize that I was going to be okay. After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like hell but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so damn sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as. Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends. I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together. Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
This game needs to be moved from full release into Early Access, there are Sooooo many bugs in this game. Within the first 15 min I found over 15 bugs, most were minor and irritating ones (the irritating ones were the lag and power usage going dark red, drawing more and more wattage into the system without a limit) There was quite a few spelling and grammar issues. There were also a hand full of medium bugs, and weirdness in the game. For a spec reference/PC Build mine is: Windows 10 Pro 64Bit Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z390-A Socket LGA1151 CPU: 9th Gen Intel Core I7-9700K Processor (3.6GHz, 8 Core, LGA1151) (Running Stock, No overclocking) Heatsink: Noctua NH-U14S Ultra-Quiet Slim CPU Cooler with 2x NF-A15 Fan's RAM: 32GB DDR4 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance (Running at 2133MHz) GPU: Power Colour AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Red Devil 12 Gb DDR6 (Overheats if I set 1 or both screens to 1440p while playing Conan Exiles, Scum, and games with an un-capped FPS) 1st HD: 240GB Radeon SSD (O/S only) 2nd HD: 2TB SATA III (Seagate BarraCuda 3.5") 3rd HD: 2TB SATA III (Seagate BarraCuda 3.5") 4th HD: 240GB Kingston SSD (SVN/Repository only) 5th HD: 2TB SATA III (Seagate BarraCuda 3.5") Optical Drive: Pioneer BD-RW BDR-209 (Writes up to 50Gb Blu-rays) Sound Card: Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus Pure Edition (With the Zx Exterior controller) PSU (Power Supply): Phanteks Revolt X (80 Plus Platinum) 1000 Watt Fully Modular Power Supply Monitor: (2x): IIYama 28" G-Master GB2888UHSU Monitor (3840 x 2160 Max DPI) Both are currently set for 1080p. Mouse: Tecknet 6D Gaming Mouse (Cheep but still a good mouse) Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K30 (Removed windows keys, they kept getting in the way)
Three hours in and still finding amazing things to harvest and craft, This plays a lot like MD or Raubritter and i am glad i helped fund it's test drive edition.
Great Game. I just started to get into RPG games and this was my first RPG game that I played and it has been great. Still in its early stages, but can't wait to see how it develops in the future.
As it is a Full Release Now its not worth more than 2 - 3 Bucks. Where it sucks you can see in other reviews.
got demolished by a group of wolves that juked all of my bow shots combat is a little stiff, graphics look great, story is ok, building isn't bad not bad but i'd wait for sale.
