The Beginner's Guide

I didn't really like this, I at first enjoyed being taken through each game and found the creative process, as well as what it had to say about it interesting. The narrator eventually explains that he is essentially putting these games online against the original creator's will (this is open to interpretation, the games here are more than likely his own work.) and the whole thing spirals into this complete emotional meltdown. The way I see it, if these aren't his games, then obv it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up to put them here, and if they are, then this whole thing comes off as weirdly self-congratulatory and kind of gross so its a lose-lose. This game is 10 years old now so maybe it doesn't really matter but whatever. More than a little pretentious for my liking. To dev, definitely keep making games, but maybe just forget about this one?

Don't read review's. Barely look at the store page, this game is short and sweet, and only 10 bucks. For 10 Dollars I have a game that is stuck in my head and can impact me in such a way, FOR ONLY 10 BUCKS! Everyone struggles with mental health issues, if you want to feel a bit seen, and have some great visuals and music in your ears, or if you just want to enjoy a story, please get this game. Thank you Dave for making this game, it is beatiful and I will never forget it

Plenty of build up, but a disappointing and unsatisfying ending.

Great game for in between, when you don't know what to play next. The narrated story is engaging and not as blunt as you would expect from games.

Eu ganhei esse jogo de natal de um amigo, a premissa pareceu interessante e resolvi jogar ele na noite de natal, talvez tenha sido uma das melhores piores escolhas da minha vida, ele de alguma forma mudou algo em mim, falou sobre coisas que eu nem sabia que me incomodavam, não sei exatamente o que foi contado aqui. Só sei que, ao ir embora, levei algo comigo que não me pertencia. E por isso, talvez, eu deva um pedido de desculpas.
