Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 19 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Apotheosis Project is an immersive and thought-provoking adventure game that had me engaged from start to finish. While the art style and graphics may look outdated, the game still manages to create an immersive world that draws you in. The game's storyline is unique and kept me invested in the characters and their journey. The puzzles are challenging and require a good amount of critical thinking to solve. Overall, The Apotheosis Project is a great game for anyone who enjoys adventure games with a sci-fi twist, despite its outdated visuals.
The Apotheosis Project is a classic-style point and click adventure game about people who work for some kind of spy organization maybe and sort of have superpowers. The story is overall pretty weak and nonsensical. It's never really clear what the characters' actual job is and the superpower plot is kind of pointless, and the whole thing is drawn together into an incredibly bizarre and unsatisfying ending (full disclosure I got about 840 points so maybe the 1000 points ending is better). The dialogue tries really hard to be clever and funny but usually fails. The art is serviceable, nothing special but fine for the price range. However the backgrounds can be pretty murky and with the amount of pixel hunting that you're going to have to do that might get irritating quickly. The voice acting is so bad that I'm pretty sure that the game would have been better off un-voiced. Every actor pronounces certain words (particularly "apotheosis" but also a few others) differently from one another, or sometimes the same actor will pronounce a word differently from scene to scene. The VA for Pandora speaks like she was being paid by the hour and is trying to draw the recording session out as long as possible. In that "modern people making a classic point & click" way, there is a LOT of pixel hunting, and some really nonsensical puzzles (this is a wee spoiler but there is a scene where you convince a character to purchase something from you that they didn't want to purchase previously because it "looks low quality" by peeling a "high quality" sticker off a stripper pole and sticking it to the item). Most of the time there is no real need for the two characters to both be present, and I think the game could have expanded a lot on puzzles that required both characters to complete. As it is, there's this weird sort of artificial division of labor so that both characters are required, so one character is too weak to open a drawer, can't follow simple instructions to operate a machine and refuses to talk to like half of the characters because they're "too scary" and the other character is like "I am too busy to read what's written on this paper". At this price point the game was okay (like it wasn't actively bad really) but I can't muster up the interest to replay it and try to get more points so I can't really recommend it.
