Note: An awesome friend gifted me a copy of this game. ^^
Searching for Cthulhu fish. XD

Introduction
100 hidden Cthulhu fish is a hidden object game developed and published by FM Simple Games Studio and Sons of Welder. Even though I played the more recent second game in the series (please check out my review of it here), I didn't have a chance to play this one, so feeling in the mood to play a short game, I decided to give this one a try. As there isn't much of a story here, I'll just dive into the gameplay. There are a total of 4 scenes although only one is available initially while the other three are locked. Each scene has a total of 100 Cthulhu fish, with approximately 25 fish tied to Steam achievements. Once you find all 100 fish in a scene, the next scene will be unlocked and so forth. When you find a fish, you click on it with your left mouse button and zoom in and out of the scene with the mouse wheel. Right clicking the mouse button and dragging the mouse allows you to move the scene and explore more of it. The game only has full screen mode, but it does have Steam achievements, which are easily obtainable. However, they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
As I mentioned earlier, I was in the mood to play a short game, and so far, I've enjoyed all of the games by the developer that I've gotten around to playing, so I wanted to check out this game. Thanks to a friend for gifting me a digital copy, I got a chance to try it out. Having enjoyed the second game, I had a pretty good guess that this game might be pretty much the same. Although that is true, there are actually more scenes in this game than in the second, so it took me longer to find all of the fish and obtain all of the achievements. This is definitely geared more towards those who want a slight challenge when it comes to finding all of the items. For those who take their time to look for all of the items, this is on the longer side. Anyway, I had no trouble finding all of the items (despite that there's no hint function) and getting the achievements, but there is a useful guide if finding the last few items proves to be elusive. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3271930145 Regarding the art, it has this wonderful hand-drawn style that gives off a Lovecraftian vibe. The fish definitely aren't pretty, but I suppose that's the point. lol I do like that they're colored in green when you find them. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3382400871 With the music, there's only one track present, but it has a very soothing, relaxing beat, which is perfect as you're looking for all those fish. I wish that there were more tracks, but for the price, I think that having just one track is fine.
Conclusion
Overall, would I recommend 100 hidden Cthulhu fish? If you're looking for a relatively short hidden object game, you want to play one that isn't cat-themed (although I do adore them a lot XD), and/or you're aiming to get Steam achievements, then this is worth checking out. For the asking price, it is relatively cheap, but you can wait for a sale, and it's in a few Steam bundles. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
100 hidden Cthulhu fish 심해의 숨어있는 물고기를 찾는 게임 매우 기괴한 그림체, 쉬운난이도 기괴한 분위기가 잘 표현되고 가시성이 뛰어남
Nettes kurzes Hidden Spiel. Dafür das man hier 4 Level hat ist man erstaunlicherweise sehr schnell durch. Ich war in ca. 7 Min durch und musste es laufen lassen... damit ich was schreiben durfte.. xD Keinerlei Probleme beim suchen! + Erfolge
These hidden game series are often short but always sweet and fun, making them perfect for quick play during breaks or between tasks. Personally, I'm a big fan of the Cthulhu theme and wouldn't have minded for it to be even a bit more creepy/dark or perhaps have some more mutated theme-fitting fish. Nevertheless, I think all four drawings were very creative and lovely to see, with 100 fish per image to find, for a total of 400 fishies. And the background tune to accompany was nice, too, a bit cheery and upbeat. It's not what I expected from this theme, yet somehow, it's fun and fitting since a dark/creepy or weird theme wouldn't have done it for me. I also really, reaaaaally have questions about the third one and what exactly happened there. Some wild Lovecraftian party?
Amazing artwork and there are four different levels to play. It's just a shame that the fish aren't terribly hard to find.
É mais do mesmo, tem outros parecidos e gratuitos e todos te darão os mesmos 10 minutos de jogo, não vejo sentido pagar o valor pedido.
I really enjoyed this small game. The music is relaxing and can be adjusted to my preference, which is a big plus for me. The art in the four levels is interesting, and it feels like the characters could come from some fairy tales or stories. Searching for the fishes wasn't frustrating at all, and by the time I finished the game, I felt completely relaxed. Thank you for creating such a pleasant experience!
