i find it funny that this game is supposed to be "Hard", do not be discouraged by it, yes the combat is hard but most of the difficulty comes from the XP drop being stingy, there is a community mod that duplicates XP gain so you can use that if you want the game is more of a "investigative" game, what i mean by this is that the game is rather short, the structure consist of a Main questline that you are solving alongside your Faction´s questline, the game is very linear in this aspect, the exploration comes from having multiple playthroughs and trying different routes, many locations and quests overlap with eachother and give clues as to what you can get where, thus the "investigative" aspect you are in essence piecing out a story from fragments, and once you have the full picture you can make a new character and go get the secret Mc.Guffin i haven´t completed all archievements yet but i will eventually get around to it as stated before the difficulty of the game really comes from XP allocation, this game is similar to "Shadowrun" where you get fixed XP points for completing missions and getting to certain areas, no grinding, this means you can softlock yourself rather easy in your first playthrough if you are not careful, but at the end of the day the game gives you unlimited saves with the only restriction of only being able to save when out of combat the upside to all this is that the Text adventure segments of the game are deterministic, if a task requires Streetwise 3, then that´s it, streetwise 3 and you do it, done and over, if you want a stress-free experience i thus recommend to play with Speech-based characters and do some of the more straightforward questlines before jumping into a combat character funny enough considering i hate difficulty games and have nothing but utter disdain for the Tryhardism industry standard where everything needs to be a hardcore Soulslop-rogue-♥♥♥♥ with permadeath, its somewhat of a "Comfort game" for me, its much more forgiving than Darkest Dungeon or Gloomhaven or any of these tryhard "RPG"s that somehow have better reputation than this game in regards to difficulty
