Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For a developer like Square Enix, it is unacceptable to release a game with poor optimization. In the game, when you finally acquire your fairy companion, the game's fps tanks to 30-40 ish fps, which completely destroys the experience for me. It might have to do with how the fairy is animated who knows. I played the demo to death before purchasing and I didn't encounter it there since you would not get the fairy companion in the demo. The game gets back up to the usual fps when she is not on screen. Frankly this is unacceptable (especially with a price rivaling other AAA games) as having the fairy companion out is essential in parts of the game. And from what I've heard, only Intel CPUs are hit. I have a 4070ti and 13600k, so there's no way this is a hardware issue. FIX YOUR DAMN GAME SQUARE ENIX. EDIT JULY 22, 2026 So after about 45 hours total of gameplay from the demo and then transferring to the main game and getting 100% of the trophies, I would still give this a negative review. The previous rant about the FPS bugs was fixed so that's all well and good. Overall, it's a good game, but not great by any means. The world is somewhat small, enemies and battles can be repetitive. Story is alright. Good game, just not worth the full price of ~60 USD where I'm from. Maybe wait for a big sale at least 50% off.
Pretty good and engaging story, digs into time traveling without making it a bother to keep up. Fun gameplay and different weapons, the fairy mechanic is a hit or miss for some, but I liked it. Only annoyance: while the game does say that certain side quests will not be available anymore soon if you continue with the story, sometimes that side quest needs to be picked up in a location that continues the story, which makes it my only annoyance.
Great game so far. I am still going through it. It has notes of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger. Story so far is basic "hero goes off to save the world" which... honestly I find refreshing. Elliot is someone that is just going out and trying to do the right thing. The main problem is the companions.... there is an option in the settings to make them talk less and they still talk too much, every time you see a point of interest, open the map, as the plot is happening a fairy explains it to you like you didn't just hear what was going on. That is the biggest flaw for me so far but its not enough for me to leave a negative review. If you love Zelda, you will love this game.
Can't review it on the basis of performance like others because it runs perfectly for me. What I will say is MAN I MISS CLASSIC ZELDA SO BAD and this game really scratches that good itch. If you took the formula of old classic top-down Zelda, gave it a beautiful HD-2D coat of paint, some modern QOL, and filed the serial numbers off so nobody could tell it was a Zelda game, you'd get Adventures of Elliot. And this game is DENSE. There's so much of the world to explore, puzzles to do, dungeons to clear. It's great! For the story, I've liked what I've seen so far. I've gotten 2/3 of the endings so far and I liked it all enough. It didn't blow my socks off but it didn't offend me either. Yes, if you enjoyed classic top-down Zelda and you want more of it, check this game out. It's great. Just be wary if you have a weaker PC because others are saying the performance can be pretty rough. Edit: All endings achieved. Still very satisfied. Same as before, didn't blow my socks off, but it's a good game.
JUEGAZO
If you decide to play this game, know there is three endings. Also, play on Very Hard mode since this game is kind of easy (if you are bad at action games or don't play games often, go hard mode). You will want to go for the true ending, it is 1000% worth it and most reviewers on youtube will tell you so. If you get the bad ending the game is a 7/10, good ending is a 8.5/10, and the True Ending is an 11/10. This has become one of my favorite games of this year and Team Asuna at Square Enix killed it YET AGAIN. Music: 8/10 - soft wonderful music that never grates on the ears plays through the entire game. It is not entirely memorable music like some of the songs from Octopath Traveler, but it is completely in line with the style of this game. Gameplay: 9/10 - simple combat but yet I still found myself getting hit often. Never got tired of changing weapons and some weapons actually kill different enemies easier. You have to play around with them and find out what makes some fights easier. Story: 11/10 - I cried like a baby several times. At the end I was smiling, laughing, and crying. This game is a real treat if you get the true ending. Length: 45-50 hours if you go for the true ending. Not sure on the others. Side content: 9/10 - I would say this is part of where it drags because a lot of quests can be tedious (having you constantly swapping to different locations) but this is a JRPG - what were you expecting? This is not a Xenoblade Chronicles game though so there is only like 25 quests, not 100. That's why it is a 9/10. Difficulty: 5/10 - this game can at times be too easy. I put it on very hard and THAT challenged me but I could see lower difficulties not even challenging you. It is rated low simply because I don't think most people would click 'very hard' on a first play through and that is the difficulty I believe this game should be played at. I only did so because a youtube video had advised me to do so and I agree with them. This is a wonderful story and you will not regret purchasing it even at full price. If you want to wait for a sale then that's fine as well since Square Enix games go on sale quite often actually. As stated, this has been one of my absolute favorite games this year and I implore you to join me in playing a quintessential JRPG.
