Niezły hardcore, zapomnijcie o zapisach gry i innych takich... Trzeba wkuwać magię na pamięć, rzezać stwory i do przodu, byle głębiej... :-)
Fun dungeon crawler. Though not as animated as say Grimrock or Vaporum, there seems to be a good amount of depth to the mechanics, and some features that are out right unavailable in other games in this genre. Highly recommend if you are a fan of dungeon crawlers.
Despite some game balance issues making the combat trivial after a couple hours, messy UI and lack of in-game help, I LOVE THAT GAME. The atmosphere, dungeon design, graphics, music, story; it nails them all and provides a surprisingly unique dungeon crawler experience. I became obsessed with it and can't stop thinking about it's design since I started playing. It's just so damn cool, and there's a huge amount of content. Can't get enough. Solid 8/10
The 7th Circle - Endless Nightmare first-person dungeon crawler RPG reminds me of classic games from the 90`s a grid-based dungeon crawling CRPG and a traditional JRPG very good dungeon crawler It's definitely worth buying if you're a fan of the genre.
The 7th Circle - Endless Nightmare is a dark and challenging dungeon-crawling RPG developed by 68k Studios and published by Gamera Interactive. Built as a tribute to classic first-person dungeon crawlers, the game embraces many of the genre’s traditional mechanics while incorporating modern roguelite progression systems and psychological storytelling. Rather than focusing on cinematic presentation or fast-paced action, it delivers a methodical and demanding experience aimed at players who enjoy deep character building, strategic combat, and relentless exploration. The game's narrative takes place within a twisted subconscious realm where the protagonist confronts manifestations of their own mind. Following a traumatic event that blurs the line between life and death, players enter a surreal nightmare populated by various Alter Egos that represent different fragments of the character's personality. This psychological framework gives the adventure a unique identity, transforming what could have been a straightforward dungeon crawler into a darker journey of self-discovery and survival. The mature themes and unsettling atmosphere help maintain a sense of mystery throughout the entire campaign. Exploration serves as the backbone of the experience. Players navigate extensive first-person labyrinths filled with traps, hidden treasures, dangerous enemies, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. The game offers a substantial amount of handcrafted content spread across numerous large dungeon floors, while randomly generated areas add variety and replay value. Every expedition requires careful observation and resource management, as venturing too far without preparation can quickly lead to disaster. The sense of vulnerability enhances the tension and makes every successful discovery feel rewarding. Character customization is one of the game's strongest features. Players create an Alter Ego by distributing attributes, selecting skills, acquiring perks, and shaping a unique build that suits their preferred playstyle. Whether focusing on physical combat, magic, survivability, or hybrid approaches, there are many ways to tackle the challenges ahead. The progression system rewards experimentation, encouraging players to refine their strategies with each new character. Because the game utilizes permadeath mechanics, every choice carries weight and directly affects long-term success. Combat is entirely turn-based and requires thoughtful planning rather than quick reflexes. Encounters emphasize tactical decision-making, forcing players to consider positioning, equipment, spell selection, and resource conservation. A large collection of weapons, magical abilities, consumables, and support skills provides plenty of options for overcoming threats. The extensive spell system in particular offers significant depth, allowing players to develop specialized builds capable of adapting to different enemy types and situations. Victory often comes from preparation and intelligent use of available tools rather than brute force. The roguelite elements help soften the harshness of the permanent death system. Although losing a character can be painful, certain resources and progression benefits carry over to future runs, ensuring that time invested is never completely wasted. This creates a satisfying loop where each failure contributes to future success. Crafting systems further enhance progression by allowing players to gather materials, create useful items, improve equipment, and strengthen future expeditions. These mechanics provide a sense of ongoing advancement even in a game built around high difficulty. Atmosphere plays a major role in the game's appeal. The environments are grim, oppressive, and often disturbing, combining medieval dungeon aesthetics with surreal imagery that reinforces the dreamlike setting. Violence, horror elements, and psychological themes are consistently present, creating an experience that feels both uncomfortable and intriguing. While the graphics are not particularly advanced compared to larger modern RPGs, the visual design succeeds in establishing a memorable mood that complements the story and gameplay. The game also includes additional challenge options for players seeking an even more punishing experience. Higher difficulty modes significantly increase the stakes and demand mastery of the game's systems. This commitment to old-school challenge will undoubtedly appeal to genre veterans, though it may prove intimidating for newcomers unfamiliar with classic dungeon crawlers. The learning curve can be steep, and patience is required to fully appreciate everything the game offers. Ultimately, The 7th Circle - Endless Nightmare succeeds as a compelling blend of traditional dungeon-crawling mechanics and modern roguelite design. Its psychological narrative, deep customization systems, rewarding exploration, strategic combat, and oppressive atmosphere create a distinctive experience that stands out within its niche. While its unforgiving nature and deliberate pacing may not suit every player, fans of challenging RPGs and classic dungeon exploration will find a surprisingly rich adventure hidden within its nightmarish world. Rating: 7/10
I can't believe I missed out on this gem for so long. very cool and intense, really does bring me back to the hay day of the hardcore dungeon crawlers. Be funny if it had a local coop or a vs battle mode, imagine how angry people would get if you had someone hiding in a dungeon just griefing the hell out of the fresh meat, also game is hard as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nails!!
Non. :(
I picked this game up for 99 cents during the steam sale so I will be reviewing it under the assumption that you paid a similar amount. This game is very intense - I read the manual that comes with it and it really is very much like an old school 90's computer game. It is confusing. You will have to commit your brain to actually understanding what is going on and what you're doing. However, what is actually offered here is very deep and will scratch the dungeon crawler itch. I would play this if you actually want to play a turn based dungeon crawler and you're willing to put time in to learn it. It will sort of force you to commit to the game to really enjoy it.
I love the dungeon crawling here, it feels dangerous, looks dangerous and is indeed very, very dangerous. The monster art is grotesque, and brutal (perfect for any horror game/movie or metal music fan, like myself) I'm really enjoying the challenge of this game and i can tell the developers really put there heart and soul into this awesome game! highly recommended!
