Thank Goodness You're Here! is an absurd comedy slapformer set in the bizarre Northern English town of Barnsworth. As a traveling salesman, take the time to see the sights and meet the locals, who are very eager to give you a series of increasingly odd jobs…

A great tribute to the North and all of its charm. The jokes were clever and the art is charming.
I had a fun time with this and can recommend it, if you know what you're getting. It's a highly linear adventure lasting about 3 hours and there aren't any sidequests. The main appeals are the crisp looking animation and absurd humor. The trailer is representative, so your gut feeling after watching it is likely correct on whether this will be for you. Taking the time to soak in the background and find optional interactions is well worth it, so don't rush!
crazy. british. "Reggie's wife could learn a thing or two" "IT IS F***ING MASSIVE". bello, consigliato se vi piace il british humour.
patience is a virtue
很有意思
,就是如果一开始就老老实实听话坐在椅子上等…那么15min后直接右转进屋,全剧终(不会真的有人一周目就拿到这个成就吧不会吧
I needed a palate cleanser between longer games and this hit the spot. It's hard to identify other games to compare it to - the closest is Untitled Goose Game for the cartoonish mischief, though there's less actual gameplay here. It reminded me more of other forms of British culture, with surreal and slapstick humour - Monty Python, Carry On, The League of Gentlemen (when the game gets slightly dark) and comics from my childhood such as Whizzer and Chips. You could associate it with many British comedy points of reference. I was entertained from start to finish and laughed out loud often. My partner, who isn't interested in games, watched some of it and laughed along. I enjoyed it more than I expected to.
i enjoy british humour but i still felt like a lot of things flew over my head liked the art, voice acting, scenarios, and cutscenes thank
You help people with their problems and everywhere is filthy. My favourite part was the sell out flowers who say they love each other until one dies and they instantly turn to another one and continue the process. Also the controls are movement, interact and slap, but the game doesn't tell you about how to actually play it, so you could be at the flower scene without knowing what to do to progress it. You basically have to spam random buttons to figure it out yourself. The main menu and the pause menu background is realistic while the gameplay is entirely animated, which is quite fun. The most relatable character is the guy who just wants his house to be cleaned up. You'll understand once you ruin his home multiple times without your character acknowledging his existence ever. Be warned: There is a guy on a toilet eating beans from a can and he isn't wearing any trousers at all.
This game made me crave Yorkshire Tea halfway through. Nuff said.
A great game, with lots of funny characters and jokes throughout. The world is bright and almost nostalgic, even though I'm not from England. With so many secrets and hidden extras, I found myself lost in the world. I would certainly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun experience.
