Testament: The Order of High Human

This game is quite a mixed bag. The graphics and animation is rather well done, the music quite immersive. Skill tree and item creation is nicely thought out while not too complicated. However, the story is mostly boring and inconsistent, the gameplay overall is annoyingly linear railroad-y, world exploration is severely limited. For the 20$ it's priced at now (01/2025), it's several hours of good entertainment and well worth getting.

Definitely no skyrim but its fun and im enjoying it so far! Edit: about 30 minutes in, completely lost interest.

Requires a little getting used to, but engaging once gotten the hang of it.

"I HATE RANGED ENEMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!" jokes aside, hard locks you if you die to an elevator and don't get the cut scene to grab the artifact, lets you continue the story till it realizes you don't have the item and there is no way to go back unless you start a new save or get lucky and have one of the auto saves (cause there is no way to manual save) be right near the dungeon which is unlikely.

Testament: The Order of High Human é um RPG na primeira pessoa num mundo de fantasia coeso e que procura nos oferecer uma experiência diferente. Como é um tipo de jogo menos habitual para mim, acabei por me divertir bastante, mesmo ficando irritado em alguns momentos com a jogabilidade e de andar sempre à paulada com os inimigos. Ser o personagem principal a nos apresentar quase tudo é algo que rompe bastante com a nossa vontade de progredir e não nos sentimos ligados à história. Infelizmente como não brilha em nenhum dos tipos de combate e nos limita bastante a experiência, Testament: The Order of High Human é um jogo que tem em si tudo para ser um Indie de grande sucesso, mas que fica ligeiramente aquém ponto após ponto e abre oportunidade a nos desiludir. Mesmo assim, acabo por o considerar um jogo sólido para o preço que pede e que aconselho jogarem se gostam do género.
