Honest Opinion game seems to be developed by people who have no clue how a CAR actually works. Its incredibly easy to find a car that is way faster or slower than it should be. Example would be the Nissan GTR stupidly slow acceleration. Every car has the same parts no unique builds or anything. Even the pricing of cars/clothes is absolutely horrible. And the AI can predict everything: perfect brake zones, perfect racing lines, and are able to "see" any and every mistake you make no matter how small it is. But the worst part is just the weight of everything the plants/ foliage instantly drops your speed to roughly 30 mph no matter if your going say 200 mph, Traffic cars can stop you instantly as well
Amazing potential absolutely wasted [review from someone who basically never publishes reviews] Why did they even release this game... Seriously, it had everything on paper, they could've waited maybe a year to fix what needed to be fixed but no I guess. Even now more than a year and a half after it's released it's still full of bugs and optimization flaws. This is really frustrating to see because this game could have been so big, they had the right formula but the execution was so bad. Pros: - The sense of speed is one of the best I've seen in any racing game. - The interactivity with the cars (activate blinkers, windows, lights, active roof and spoilers) is unmatched. - The driving is really good, lifelike, realistic while keeping a sort of arcady feel that is easy to pick up. - The map is stunning, Hong Kong Island is beautiful, the scenery is gorgeous, the lighting is on point, and so on. - The music selection is great as well. BUT, and there are big buts: - The game is very repetitive, the story is basically absent so there's not much incentive to play the game other than being a completionist. - The bad optimization and very frequent loss of fps takes out all the fun, I either have to restart the game or wait for an undefined amount of time for them to come back. Some areas are just not worth going to because they instantly cause lags (heavy rain can sometimes have that effect too). - The economy is just plain stupid. Most decent cars cost at least 1 million credits, which are not that easy to earn, which makes getting new nice cars a grind that's just not fun to do. I'm not asking for a Forza Horizon type of thing which throws hypercars at you for free, but a middle ground would be nice. - Because of the terrible launch and bad reputation it acquired since then, multiplayer is basically non-existent. - I said this game was stunning? Well it is, except for the times where it isn't... In a few instances (not much, but it's still anoying), it randomly looks like a PS3 game, until the next loading screen. AND, last but absolutely not least: This is a good car game (on paper) but a bad Test Drive Unlimited. They were close, it's just not there yet. Many nice features of the previous games are missing or toned down. I really do hope this is not the last we see of TDU however. Don't buy it at full price, wait for at least a 50/75% discount. I had a lot of fun playing this TDU, I do recommend it, but not for 50 bucks.
Povo fala mal, mas curti pra caramba o game .. só acho meio confuso a progressão .. mas aos poucos estou conseguindo
graphic optimization is ass
> bought the game coz friend recommended > game gets stuck on a loading loop on first launch > reboot PC, game requires a 3rd party account > try to enter name, causes my entire keyboard to freeze > ALT+F4 and try again > Finally reach gameplay and open the store > microtransactions Yea f*ck whoever made this steaming pile of garbage, games in the year 2000 had better car handling than this
Love exploring the open world of TDU Solar Crown.
Selten so ne scheiße gesehen Ich komme nicht mal zum Spielen weil die zu blöd sind mir ne Mail zu schicken.
