Hi, I'm Terry Cavanagh! You might remember me from such videogames as Dicey Dungeons, Super Hexagon, and VVVVVV. Here are a few other things I've made over the years!

About
Hello there! I'm Terry Cavanagh, and I'm a game designer. Maybe you've played some of my games before? I made the C64-inspired gravity-flipping platformer VVVVVV, the minimal action game Super Hexagon, and the dice placement dungeon crawler Dicey Dungeons.
Those are my commercial releases. But I've been making games since I was a kid, and along the way I've worked on a lot of stuff! Most of these games are very hard to get running nowadays, even some of the ones that are only a few years old - computers change and things slowly break.
Making these other games has always been a really important part of how I work, and they include some of my very favourite projects. So I decided to bring some of the best of them together in one big easy-to-play collection, as "Terry's Other Games"! It's a little window into what making indie games has been like for me, from where I started to where I am now.
The collection includes a few reasonably substantial games, including:
Don't Look Back: a retro platformer from the Flash game era
At a Distance: an exploration/puzzle game for two players
Naya's Quest: an isometric puzzle game about weird perspectives
Tiny Heist: a fun and fairly tricky roguelike stealth game
Mr Platformer: he jump on the platforms
But it also includes a bunch of smaller, messier games - experimental games made in a weekend, an unfinished prototype, joke games I made for game jams, a game I made as a teenager. Here are a few titles at random: The Hunt, Radio Silence, A Proper Cup of Tea, memrrtiks suashem, Maverick Bird.
I hope you find something here you like!

Stumbled across this today, and was astonished to find out that a large chunk of the most memorable CoolMathGames I played growing up (Grab Them By The Eyes, Don't Look Back, Copycat, Tiny Heist) were all made by the same person! And in a single collection on Steam, no less. Those gems will forever stay in my heart, and I can't wait to try the rest of the games! A message to Filthy Burger: READ EM AND WEEP!! JAY'S BURGERS ON TOP!!!
A simple collection of mini games with a few standouts. You can see the influence these pieces had on Terry's larger successes. Rating 7/10. Pros: Naya's Quest is an amazing mind bender and I am so glad to have played it the whole bundle is worth it for that game alone. Games are simple, the cost is cheap, Terry is (probably) a good person and definitely a good game designer. Cons: None if you know what to expect.

Should be tried for war crimes for The Hunt. So clunky, unfair and seemingly endless, but so addictive. Love this pack of games. In seriousness, if you like any of Terry's commerical games, there's something in here for you. So many unique games. As a big Super Hexagon fan, I got a lot of enjoyment out of The Hunt as mentioned, the feeling of getting better and better each run and eventually getting veteran beat was a great accomplishment. Other standouts are Don't Look Back, Naya's Quest (a really fun, quite tough but not annoyingly long puzzle game), Grab Them by the Eyes and Maverick Bird. As mentioned by some other reviews, most of these games (I think) are freeware, but this package of all of them is amazingly presented, even has HDR and native controller support. None of these games are necessarily going to blow you away, I think most of the descriptions even make that apparent, a lot of these were made as part of game jams or are early projects (in the case of The Hunt), but they're unique, replayable and offer something for everyone.
I first found out about Terry through "Don't Look Back". It means a lot to me that I get to experience that game again on my desktop computer. The other games are a huge plus, because it's feels nice to finally be able to play games that were Flash, without having to install some weird or unknown plugin. I've wanted to try Naya's Quest for years, so that's the next thing I will dive into.
I played so many of Terry's games from middle school through college. Grab Them By The Eyes, Naya's Quest, that fast box puzzle, Don't Look Back, even Tiny Heist. Even though I was awful at it. Paying ten bucks to relive my childhood is worth every penny. 10/10, the tea needs more sugar.
getting to relive playing grab them by the eyes at school when i was supposed to be doing work is worth 10 dollars IMHO
An outstanding collection of Flash games! While it is disappointing no bonus features are present, 10 games in 1 package for only $10 is a good price. It definitely looks like something I'll play from time to time again.
小时候就很喜欢玩VVVVVV 这些小游戏也都很有趣味!
