my kids love that game, they even developed strats together to take down the helicopters. Definitely recommend for a casual fun and short play sessions.

It's neat!

TLDR: [b]Kaiju, pixel physics, mass destruction, and biting satire (See what I did there?) make Terror of Hemasaurus a winner.[/b] Even though there's not a flood of Rampage-like games on Steam, you know what you're going to get with a game like this just by looking at it. A Rampage-like with big monsters, punching buildings, eating humans. It's all here. The unique charm of ToH is some brutal not-child-friendly satire captured with a cartoony and cute pixel visual style... because [i]everything's fine!!![/i] It's not like the doomsday clock is super close to midnight. Oh, it is. So, yes, [b]ToH appropriately serves up mass destruction, blood, and death with an incongruent level of cuteness![/b] I enjoyed the campaign mode that spans three chapters with levels and bonus levels. [b]It's entertaining, darkly funny, and plenty meta for gamers who thought they were going to be getting a family friendly game about destroying cities and eating people.[/b] It's kind of a simple, straight-forward, arcade style game so it was pleasantly surprising to see design work and care go into the game over screen and what happens when you fail one level in particular. The gameplay is just about destroying buildings, so it can get kind of same-y and fine details like those are nicely refreshing. Aside from presentation, levels progressively add new mechanics or changes, like unlimited ultimate ability power, into the mix. [b]Even when I thought I had seen it all, some of those changes, combined with the game's focus on physics, made for some moments of destruction I didn't see coming and they look fantastic in all their pixelated glory.[/b] How very human of me, I know. The monsters here have all the same basic moves while their ultimate ability is unique. Once I started using the Clocksloth monster's ultimate, I was immediately sold on them as a favorite. There's also firebreathing and some surprises in the last couple levels that work really well once you figure out the controls. It is a short title, but appropriately priced even if you just play the campaign once. If you ever crave a dose of some Rampage style action here and there, this is a game that will satisfy in short doses in the long run and it takes up so little disk space you can comfortably leave it installed for those moments.
