Choose your heroes that will fight to rid this world of corrupted Tendryll. In order to survive, your heroes must work together and coordinate their unique abilities. You will encounter deadly enemies, dangerous traps, and perilous environmental hazards that hex your cards.

Each hero has its own move deck and draws a guaranteed move card each turn - allowing your heroes to always be in the fight. Dedicated map nodes let you swap in new move cards to maintain a balanced move deck.
Alongside their move decks, heroes also have unique attacks and skills that give them powerful ways to reposition themselves and others. You will knock enemies back into walls, teleport to random locations to gain an energy advantage, or throw allies and enemies across the battlefield - dealing heavy damage around where they land.

Double your block, gain Invisibility, or play your card twice - every card can potentially be improved with impactful runes like these.
If you’re feeling bold or desperate, shops and black markets offer risky anomalies that reward you with items for free - if you don’t pay with your life.

Survival requires difficult choices. Along your journey, your heroes will find card-altering runes, unique movement cards, and class-defining relics. Will your heroes take the greedy path to perfect their archetypes, or will they take a safer path, restoring their health with the hope of surviving another battle?

Reviews
One of the best ways to scratch the roguelike itch since slay the spire! Was part of the beta, then played early access. It's been wonderful to see the game flesh out and grow. Things are balanced and combat it interesting and it's so fun to get interesting combinations.

Looking forward to more content
great roguelike deckbuilder, very original
An excellent iteration of the hybrid Breach-like and Spire-like subgenre. Could use improvements on the cross-class synergies and some of the Boss Relics.
Tendryll stands out with its grid-based movement system, which adds an extra layer of complexity to the traditional card-battling mechanics. Players must carefully coordinate their heroes, modify cards with runes, and construct powerful item builds to navigate through terrain and defeat a variety of enemies. One of the game's strongest points is its replayability. With over 170 cards, 115 relics, and three playable classes (with the promise of more content in the future), the game offers countless combinations and strategies for players to explore. The inclusion of runes and relics adds depth to the gameplay, allowing for creative customization and adaptability. Tendryll is not without its challenges. The game is undeniably difficult, which may deter casual gamers or those new to the genre. Runs can take upwards of two hours, requiring a significant time investment and strategic thinking. While the save feature is a welcome addition, the steep learning curve and complex mechanics might feel overwhelming for some players.
Unfortunately there's not enough fresh ideas to make this interesting.
this game is so good, everything is so well made, from the art to the gameplay. it is incredible and it has so much potential, and the content is not as low as many people say, considering a run is between 1 and 2 hours, and that you can easily play 5-10 run with every combination, lowballing it has 20 hours of fresh content, even more playtime if you want to reach ascension 10. i really love how well they meshed up into the breach and slay the spire, and for me it takes the good things from both, but also innovates, like the runes that were made 2 years before the enchantment in sts2, or the bane and augmentation. i love this game, it is so sad that the last minor update was exactly 1 year(and 2 months) ago. i hope that someday this game is finished with the nes heroes and enemy, but even if they don't i really recommend this game, it is just that good.
