Yes, the monetization of Tekken 8 post-launch is questionable at best and predatory at worst. Yes, the balancing team has made mistakes with certain characters and updates. Yes, Alisa, Eddy and King exist. Yes, I've played dress-up with Lili. In-spite of all of that, Tekken 8 is hands-down the highest quality fighting game currently on the market, with a robust and complete package that will cater to every corner of the fighting game community. You don't have to develop mildly sociopathic tendencies and attempt to learn punishment for 30+ unique characters that have on average 100 moves. In addition to the hype single-player campaign, you have Arcade Quest, which serves as the game's tutorial, traditional arcade battle, a robust practice and replay system that helps you learn with real examples, addicting customization and a plethora of social/ranked online modes for masochists like myself. Ignore the mixed review score. The community is just incredibly passionate and loves the series. We complain about the cost of DLC characters and buy them anyway. We complain about patches and play the game regardless. P.S. If I see you playing Alisa or Eddy online, I will have no mercy.

this game is dogsh*t for one sole reason. TAKE EDDY OUT OF THE GAME, most op character ever this game is TRASH.

It’s true that some characters are highly unbalanced, which can feel incredibly frustrating at times. But this is absolutely the most fun fighting game ever made, and the only fuel that ignites my otherwise dull and tedious life. The roaring music, combined with the pure aesthetics and the sheer weight of every single hit, keeps my dopamine constantly surging. It is this game that rarely makes me feel like I am truly alive.

They have made tekken way worse since tekken 4-5, everything here is full of people with hacks, with autoblockers and auto grab breakers, even though they are reported and you can actually see the replays, they dont get banned, they are playing in tekken god parrying everything and making fun of people playing fair
