At $20, this port should at minimum include manual button remapping and optional online co-op. Without basic QoL features, the value feels poor in 2026. Абсолютная халтура, даже по меркам LRG очень слабое издание. Потому что обычно они хотя бы выдают хоть в чем-нибудь интересные игры - Clock Tower первую или Fear Effect. Не шедевры, но есть что посмотреть. Fighting Force же... Ну, первая еще туда-сюда, исключительно поностальгировать, тыкая 1-2 часа в примитивный и скучный битемап. Но вторая - это же откровенный мусор, а не игра. И понятно, что никаких улучшений от LRG ждать не стоит. То есть - вообще никаких. Их максимум - явно сгенерированная ИИ картинка, на которой перепутали цвет волос одного из бойцов первой части и главного героя второй части (ну или это вообще не он, но тогда возникает вопрос - а кто это?). Подлатать управление, какие-то механики, прочие нюансы - это все не для LRG. Онлайн кооп для первой части - только не в этой жизни. Но можно хотя бы в раздел дополнительных материалов положить что-то кроме нескольких артов? Хотя бы трейлеры, я уж не говорю про другие вещи (см. ремастер Dark Forces или Outlaws). А еще у Fighting Force 1 есть версия для N64, которая немного отличается от версии для PS1. А еще у Fighting Force 1 есть прототип для Saturn, который еще сильнее отличается от версии для PS1. Нельзя в издание под названием "Коллекция" хоть что-нибудь подобное запихнуть? Да, пришлось бы немножко пошевелить мозгами и одним эмулятором PS1 такая коллекция не обошлась бы. Времена такие - хочешь денег - умей вертеться. За 5, ну, 7 евро я б еще чисто ради смеха первую взял, но 20 за комплект из посредственной и откровенно убогой игр без каких-либо нормальных бонусов - это просто смешно.

I last played this game when I was maybe 8 years old and I honestly didn't remember much about it outside of the first chapter. I have now completed the first of the two games and it has been great so far. It ran smoothly on my Steam Deck with no crashes, softlocking or any other issues, just a smooth ride the whole way. The default binds on the deck were also fine and felt pretty intuitive and natural. The only thing I found weird was that saving inbetween chapters using the save game prompt that pops up once you completed a chapter didn't seem to really save anything, but if you use the quick save option in the menu, you can save and load fine at any point throughout the game? If you like me played this when it was still a relevant game and you liked it then, I highly recommend trying out this port, it is fun!. I also hope to see more PS1 classics rereleased in the future, whether it is gonna be Limited Run Games to publish them or someone else. A classic game revived from the PSX era. Fighting Force 2 is garbage - that's why they bundled them. DISCLAIMER: do not expect any improvements or graphic enhancements, this is a basic port with ZERO change on the game or gameplay.

Terrible game. Terrible voice acting. Terrible controls. How on Earth did I finish Fighting Force 2 as a 10 year old child? Did I like being tortured? Anyway, peak game 10/10 going to finish it another 10 times.

If you remember Fighting Force from back in the day, this is what you remember. It's clunky, it's old, it's fairly repetitive, but it's fun. The concept art gallery was a nice inclusion and the emulation is good. It does come with some of the issues that emulation generally comes with, some various visual issues and a slight input delay, but overall I'm just happy to see Fighting Force being released on modern platforms. It also comes with the second game, but honestly, I really can't recommend it. No matter how good the emulation is, Fighting Force 2 is just.. a really bad game that I doubt anyone could find many positives for. Consider this the first game with the second one packaged in as a bonus. If you have an issue playing PS1 era games, this will not do anything to change your mind. This was never considered among the best, but it was always a good option to have. Now if they could add remote play for online coop...

В порте есть квиксейвы, поддержка Xinput джойстиков, отмотка времени, графически порты неплохие. Кратко расскажу о первой части - это классический битемап, но в 3D, вы ходите, бьёте врагов руками и ногами, поднимаете холодное оружие, такое, как палки, ножи, так и пистолеты и прочие предметы вроде шин и коробок. У вас будет несколько путей прохождения, но все ведут к одному и тому же концу. Нам надо положить конец Зенгу, главе злой корпорации. У вас есть 4 персонажа на выбор - два мужчины и две женщины, есть боссы. Эта игра была на многих платформах, включая Нинтендо 64, везде она выглядит неплохо, это классический трёхмерный битемап. В него можно играть вдвоём. Я его прошёл за 2 часа. Но больше мне хочется сказать про вторую часть игры. Вы играете только за одного персонажа из прошлой игры, играть можно только одним игроком. Вы будете посещать различные места, где у вас будут задания - кого-то убить, что-то разрушить. Коньком игры является возможность разрушать почти всё, что попадается под руку - компьютеры, стулья, трубы, всякое другое разрушаемое. Минусом игры является то, что каждая миссия проходится за 1.5 часа, в оригинале сохранение проходит только после прохождения каждой миссии, а 1.5 часа за один раз тяжело выдержать, но тут на помощь приходят квиксейвы, я их использовал почти постоянно. Процесс игры монотонный, даже скучный, но не совсем лёгкий. Много ситуаций, когда убивает очень быстро, опять же квиксейвы спасают. Враги в игры довольно тупые, могут стоять прямо перед вами и ничего не делать или же стоять внизу или сверху и вас не видят. У вас будет много оружия - ножи, кувалды, палки, гранаты, ружья, автоматы, миниганы, гранатомёты, ракетницы, огнемёты и ещё многое. Многое в игре выглядит сильно устаревшим, особенно дизайн уровней. Вы идёте по кишке, убиваете появляющихся врагов, из последнего падает ключ-карта, открываете ей закрытую дверь и продолжаете так много раз. Я фактически проходил игру через силу. Но игра играется нормально, в ней почти нет багов. В игре около 10 уровней и одна сюжетная вилка. Я прошёл эту игру за 12 часов и получил определённое удовольствие. Но рекомендую вам в неё играть, если у вас есть терпение и упорство. В целом хороший сборник, я рекомендую.

Faltan detallitos como para llamarlo "colección", las versiones de Dreamcast y N64 brillan por su ausencia, es puramente la versión de play ... a estas alturas creo que los estudios que se dedican a revivir ciertos juegos ya deberían saber que ese tipo de agregados son lo que mayormente atrae, ejemplos? Nightdive con sus versiones de Turok toman en cuenta tanto el soundtrack de pc y N64 ... ID con quake incluye versiones de N64, pc y play ... en fin, si jugaste esta versión de play pues adelante con tu compra, si no ... pues esta no es la "nostalgia" para ti.

This game is all nostalgia, just a cash grab. They updated nothing. The controls are so outdated; the hit detection is outdated. They did nothing. And if you're one of those morons who is on about graphics, save it. You don't buy a PlayStation game and expect HD graphics, although an update to them—polishing them—would be nice. Go look at *Frogun* if you want a good example of good PlayStation graphics, or *Fear the Spotlight*. Ignore the "thumbs up" idiots. They don't know what they're talking about; they'll play anything. They're the same losers with bad taste, just like always. And if you just have to have it, wait until it's on sale. & we all bought it for Part 1; nobody wants that Part 2 trash—even these tasteless losers, although I'm skeptical.

Fighting Force 1 is one of the best PlayStation 1 games for co-op from 1997. Still good even today!
