About
Build and decorate your tavern, hire staff, stock your larder, meet the locals, be the boss and run the show! Whether you keep a cosy neighbourhood taphouse or a lean, mean gold-minting machine, the choices - and consequences - are yours.

Dozens of intertwined game systems create unpredictable emergent situations. Dirt, heat, noise, flammability, sickness and of course, a parade of colourful customers all keep the unexpected coming.

Today’s situation: Half of your staff are in bed with sleep-sickness. Orders are piling up and patrons’ tempers are getting heated. So is the tavern - because it’s on fire! A spark from a broken lantern landed on just the wrong patch of dirt with no one around to notice. Oops, perhaps it’s time to call the fire brigade...
An expansive narrative campaign lets you build taverns across a vibrant world full of your favourite fantasy cultures. Each new location brings fresh challenges and surprising stories. Meet immortal elementals, outwit halfling philosophers and aid a crazed orc inventor.

Experience a magical storybook fully-narrated by Steven Pacey. Encounter hundreds of bite-sized stories with a surprise at every turn. There’s always someone needing the guidance of a Tavern Keeper like you. What choices will you make?
Decorate every nook and hollow of your tavern to create everything from bustling taprooms to relaxing reading corners. Place and manipulate thousands of items anywhere with complete creative freedom and make the tavern of your dreams.

Go beyond decorating and become a master artisan by using Tavern Keeper’s powerful Design Mode to craft unique furnishings. Combine pieces, add magical effects, then share your creations with the Tavern Keeper community.

Play the single-player campaign your way with adjustable game mechanics and storyteller settings or play in Freeplay for a custom challenge. Pick Challenging and strategize over every decision, barely making it through each day, or play a Relaxed game running the tavern of your dreams without pressure. The choice is yours.
Made by Greenheart Games 💚 (Game Dev Tycoon), a tiny independent team, Tavern Keeper is a passion project more than a decade in the making. Reviews
this game is well made front to back; the effort of the single dev (at leas most of the time is what I heard) is visible at at every corner of each tavern and each turn of the story
This game is so fun and well done. I've played a lot of cozy games and sims. This one is just perfect on theme and gameplay. Can't wait for more updates.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The devs of this game really put a lot of effort into this as seen with all the bug fixes and updates! If u love Two Point Hospital, you will love this too. It is very similar and I love scheduling the staff, goods restock, decorations, and more! There are so many aspects to this game and I am loving it. Can't wait for more updates!
Clocked out of my shift just to clock into another one—and I can't stop playing. As someone who actually works in the service industry, buying a tavern management simulator is objectively unhinged behavior. Yet here I am, utterly enchanted. Tavern Keeper takes the frantic, beautiful madness of hospitality and wraps it in a delightfully cozy, storybook fantasy setting. Instead of dealing with real-world dinner rushes, I’m balancing rowdy patrons, quirky staff, and unpredictable tavern emergencies—only with vibrant, gorgeous graphics, charming humor, and zero actual grease burns. The campaign genuinely surprises you with its narrative depth. It’s lighthearted and witty, but don't let the cozy aesthetic fool you: the logistical challenges will test your inner shift manager. You'll need genuine rhythm and resourcefulness when the taps run wild and the dining room fills up. If you’ve ever wanted to sling ales, decorate the dreamiest inn in the realm, and manage the chaos of hospitality without the 2:00 AM existential dread, buy this immediately. 10/5 stars. Would clean spilled mead off the flagstones again. If you’d like to weave in any specific favorite quirks—like particular patrons, a favorite decorating mechanic, or a hilarious disaster your tavern survived—let me know and we can fold it right into the tapestry!

Tiene buen potencial aun esta en desarrollo pero los primeros 3 capitulos son divertidos
Divertido, sale un poco del parámetro de lo que uno está acostumbrado. Ideal para jugar tranqui, no pensar demasiado
I mean, Yes, but No. If you want a beautiful, relaxed game, with some sort of tavern simulation and great decoration options, go get it. You will propably love it. From my point of view i can't recommend it. Don't get me wrong, you can feel the love that went into this game. everything is quirky, cute, detailed, the devs clearly do what they love. I just cant recommend the game, for i expected more of a sim than it really is. It's just like.. i dont know, like the sims, but with chaotic free will and a somewhat funny randomness - but thats just not for me. If you want more of a simulation in that exact quirky fantasy setting, dont get it. You will most propably be disappointed because it feels pointless. There's too less management for a sim - buy random stuff with the right amount of stars, set the right price - gg, everyone's happy. Same for the employes, dont get the ones with bad traits, set them up, you're good to go, nothing will go wrong.
Great game! Fun, with a sense of humour. Happy to have bought it.
