Goat, nostalgic, and i love tattletail hes so cute
Good game nostalgic and achievements are not hard to get.
Wanted to play this game after watching it a decade ago and thought it could be a fun hour especially as my girlfriend and I were fond of Youtubers playing this. 1 hour later finishing the game left us feeling empty and the whole experience was lackluster to say the least. I'm ok with it not being a long game, but no threat actually appears until the 3rd night and when you actually play through the nights you realize that its just a boring cycle of groom, feed, groom, feed, charge. Just a very nothing game and I just wished the threat started on a earlier night as opposed to being mostly a tutorial for the first 3 nights.

I got this for 6 bucks on sale. Keep this in mind it will effect my opinion. I'm going to describe how I played the game and 100%'d it in 2 hours incase I "played it wrong" 1. Main story with the bad ending 2. Kaleidoscope 3. Went back for the last egg. 4. Did good ending 5. Did exclusive offer and what did you expect achievements finishing the game with 100% achievements unlocked. Who this game is for: I don't think it's a bad game, but I'm not the target demographic. The target demographics are people who have nostalgia for the time period this game takes place in and younger people probably below the age of 13-14. The game relies heavily on jump scares and to me at least jump scares are the lowest form of horror. I kinda expected the jump scares so when i was playing they didn't scare me and I really just found them annoying. Someone below 13-14 might find them horrifying which I why I include that as one of the target groups. The game does really well on the 90s theme, so someone from that time period would really enjoy that dynamic. Annoying bits of the game: 1. The main enemy "mama" attacks based on sound, so the only time you need to worry is if you're holding tattletail. If you just sit in the darkness she physically can't hurt you as you make no noise. This is really apparent during the ritual which i won't spoil. I will say however that if you sit in a corner during the survive object it's the most easy objective in game 2. During the ritual there is a fetch quest where Mama hovers over you basically. It's not hard it's just really annoying. Since it's a fetch quest you need your flashlight to find stuff, but since she is hovering you have to back in a corner and wait for her to run off so you can power the flashlight. Then the fetch quest requires you to break things which becomes annoying as she hovers you. It took me like 5-10 minutes of running around in the darkness to actually do the quest, but I didn't die once because as said in 1 it is physically impossible to die if you aren't holding tattletail. 3.Tattetail will make noise when you are being hunted which is so annoying. If you die in this game 99% of the time it's tattletail's fault. 4.The Kaleidoscope feels like lazy story telling. Most of it is just running around and reading bits of paper. It's extremely boring. The ending is kinda hard as I forgot the exact way to get out, but it can be done. To summarize this point 80% of Kaleidoscope is boring and only 20% has any action. Horror game with out horror for 80% lol. 5. The only thing that will scare you in this game is jump scares. 5.1 For most of the game there is only 1 jump scare screen so that gets really boring really fast. 5.2 If you already expect to be jump scared you won't be afraid when it happens removing the only horror in the game. 6. Minor thing really the models are kind basic, but this is one of the more forgivable points due to how old the game is. Based off everything I said if you can get this game for really cheap and you're 1 of the 2 groups listed, then go for it. For everyone else I wouldn't suggest it.
GAME IS PEAK BUT WHERE IS THE MOMMA!? Also waiting for a sequel because I beated this game under an hour.
I couldn't finish it because it's too scary (I am 30 years old and a huge wuss) but it's an incredible game! Everything from the sound design to the mechanic of constantly having to make sure your flashlight doesn't go out and taking care of the toy so that it doesn't make noise and give away your position, makes it very anxiety inducing and creepy and uncomfortable. I can tell a lot of thought and effort was put into every part of this game. I won't finish it though. Maybe when I'm 40 I'll be less scared.
This game is boring, most of the events in this game are scripted and there is nothing scary about it. Maybe you will find this scary if you are like maybe in elementary
A good game that I used to watch playthroughs when I was a kid, and when I played it for the first time it held up really well, probably one of the best "Mascot Horror" games of all time
this game is soo good bro i love this game and i wish they was more to this game i love tattletail
