A point & click adventure based on the legendary life of the greatest Tango singer, Carlos Gardel. With a strong grasp on Argentinean culture, it guides the player through a very charming story full of rich details of an early twentieth century Buenos Aires.

I was looking for short Point and Click Adventures you can play in one or two sittings and Tango: The Adventure Game delivered (needed 2.5 hours to complete it). It’s a fun game with a lot of references to other classic games of its genre, including it’s creators. The visual style is nice and some cut scenes (especially the intro) are quite beautiful. It’s not really challenging and the ending opens more questions than it actually answers („but that’s a story for another time“), but I hope this just teases a Tango 2, which I would like to play. The fact that there’s no voice track at all is something I, to my surprise, grew accustomed to quickly. Minor things I disliked and I hope will get improved in a potential successor:

The music is a bit too repetitive sometimes.
The Tango facts in the loading screens are also too repetitive.
As mentioned in other reviews, it sometimes happened to me to, that I wanted to click away a part of a dialog but then accidentally skipped the next part of it which the game just moved to.
Really fun and charming adventure about tango culture, somewhat based on the life of famous "tanguero" Carlos Gardel. It has lots of jokes, with that kind of ridicule and light-hearted humor from LucasArts adventures (it even breaks the 4th wall and has lots of little references and easter eggs to adventure gaming in general). The puzzles are really well designed, they are mostly inventory based with a bunch of smart mini-games thrown in there. You'll learn a lot about tango culture in general, specially from "lunfardo" the slang used by "tangueros" back in the time. Being an argentinian myself, it was a blast playing this game in Argentinian Spanish. Totally enjoyable!
Oíd mortales, el grito sagrado ¡Libertad! ¡Libertad! ¡Libertad! Oíd el ruido de rotas cadenas. Ved en trono a la noble igualdad.
Great game.
Un buen Point & Click bien argentino. Lindos gráficos, ambientación y música. Lo único malo es que a veces no se entiende mucho lo que hay que hacer en los minijuegos, pero más allá de eso, es un buen juego con linda historia y lindos personajes.
Short and easy, but very enjoyable adventure game. I'm writing this review hoping the game loses it's profile features limited tag.
I cannot recommend this to anyone. The game is really really short and very easy. Its not funny or anything else. Even in sale its not worth the money
