Tango: The Adventure Game

I did have fun and enjoy the game. I do recommend if the players like SHORT games and easy achievements. 8/10

My sentiments are exactly those of the negative review from NeverwinterMoon. https://steamcommunity.com/id/neverwintermoon/recommended/888010/ +It's pure point and click adventure. +The loading screens do tend trying to educate you a bit. -Long loading times, for a simple point and click adventure game, even with a coffee lake Cpu and 2080TI. -Puzzles are often feeling illogical. -There are missable (illogical) achievements, so unless you don't want to replay the same game over and over, you need a walkthrough, although it shouldn't be an issue i guess with it's last point: -The game is also very short, you can beat this within 1 hour, and while it has a closed ending, it gives hints to a sequel, but most likely the dev abandoned ship and it will never come. If this would be 4-8 hours long, this could have made a fantastic point and click adventure game, but as it is, it's an okay game and i wish i could select mixed review, get this on sale for 49 cents, but for it's full price, i'd say no.

Experiencia corta pero entretenida. A veces peca de esconder mucho los objetos a encontrar. Lo único malo que tengo para decir es que tiene demasiadas pantallas de carga (cosa que puedo entender entre escenarios, pero que me cargues un mapa que no se mueve es el colmo) Hubiera estado genial que tengan voces los personajes dado que no son muchos, pero viendo que son un estudio indie y que (ojalá) van a sacar mas entregas de Tango a futuro, puede llegare a irse de presupuesto. Simpática aventura gráfica ambientada en la Argentina de antaño, particularmente en las andadas de Carlos Gardel por la B.s A.s de la década del 30, y que bebe con orgullo de los clásicos de la edad de oro de las aventuras gráficas. Es un juego que hace tiempo me llamo la atención y aproveche las ofertas para probarlo. El estilo artístico me gusta pero se nota que le falta mas mano, se siente que el artista tiene conocimientos pero esta aprendiendo todavía. Con las animaciones pasa igual, y resalta en especial al momento de dar doble click para moverse mas rápido y el personaje salga disparado sin siquiera acelerar la animación de movimiento. Por ultimo la historia es bastante simple pero cumple. Y la verdad es que me entretuve mas con los diálogos y la interacción entre los personajes que saber como sigue la cosa. En especial cuando en poco mas de una hora o dos cuanto mucho ya te lo podes dar vuelta. En general me gusto el juego pero tiene sus falencias, que en parte se justifican al ser el primer lanzamiento de un estudio indie.

A charming PnC game telling a humoristic story based on the life of Tango singer Carlos Gardel. I was quite impressed how the game could tell a very serious and somewhat sad story but in a very humorous way. And we could also learn snippets of Argentina history. Adding to this, nice visuals and a beautiful soundtrack, this was quite a fun play.

pros + well drawn colorful and cartoony hand drawn background artwork and cut scenes + easy puzzles (if you don't want to challenge) + fun mini games + nice musics + there are colorful cast of side characters + when you press to space, hotspots highlighted so no need to pixel hunting + there is auto save + there are steam achievements + there is a map for fast travel cons - lack of voice overs really robs game's enjoyment - game is very short - i think game appeals to more children - storyline wasn't particulary well developed, funny, memorable or interesting - frequent loading screens - some puzzle solutions nonsensical and make any sense - unskippable cutscenes - no cards - considering it's short lenght and very indie nature, i think game overpriced. Overall, i found this point and click game quite run of the mill and uninteresting. there are similar and better point and click adventure games and i'll recommend to you play those games instead this one.

As a professional musician and someone who has visited Buenos Aires, I thought this would be an enlightening experience. Sadly, the best part of the game is the animated title sequence cut/scene which plays after completing the prologue. Just should have made an animated feature instead. Some rather annoying timed mini-games, poker hands which make no sense, and overall clunky and confusing design. And then they have to throw in the meta point-and-click references, ugh... If I could rate neutral I would but this did not leave me with a satisfied feeling...

A cute but short point-and-click adventure with beautiful animation. The major problem is the music is corrupted during the cutscenes and sounds like an old dial-up modem, but you can play just fine with the sound off.
