I liked the first game (Detective Grimoire), but I LOVED this game. Definitely some updates to the art style and gameplay. Sally was a great addition! Although it felt dialogue heavy at times, the conversations were more dynamic and interesting and the voice acting was top notch! I loved the puzzles. I just wish there were more of them. The gameplay is very chill and there is no rush or pressure to get everything right. My biggest complaint is, honestly, I felt like I didn't get to solve the mystery. In the end, the answer kind of reveals itself to you and you piece it together then? I wanted to call them out Benoit Blanc style! lol Finished the game in about 6 hours. I would recommend getting it on sale if you can!
I think this is the best one in the Detective Grimoire series! It's a good length to 100%- about 5-6 hours of playtime. The location and this batch of characters were my favorites out of all the games! Voice acting is phenomenal as always and I quite loved the lore and story in this one!
小品遊戲,感覺故事線可以再長一點 謎題不難,也有提示隨時可以點擊,不會覺得有壓力 成就也玩一輪都可以達成,破關後還有美術畫廊可以看設計稿,以及當初的設計想法,滿不錯的

A quick, cute, colorful detective game. My one quibble is that the game is a bit of a pixel hunt—there's no indication of distinct objects in each room, so when you get a hint that something needs to be looked at in a given room, you just have to keep clicking until you've found the right interaction. By contrast, when you need to ask suspects about other characters or items you've found, you get a neat little checkbox to confirm that you've looked at it. As for the detective work, it's done in a logical format familiar to any Ace Attorney fans: you're asked to make specific conclusions, and in this case, you'll Mad Libs in the right answers by selecting objects and statements about them from a drop-down menu. This can be a little frustrating at times, when you're making valid observations but the wrong conclusions, but thankfully your detective protagonists will tell you when you're close but not quite there. Finally, there are quite a few unique puzzles—each game tends to have one, and there's even one meta-puzzle that requires you to recall the rooms in which you've found certain objects before. Like the detective work, they rely heavily on logic (my favorite being a maze that you must complete by extending ribbons in a crosshatch fashion to make the right path), and there's really only one (with some magnifying glasses) that feels overly precise. On the whole, it's a bite-sized adventure with a fascinating mystery, even if most of the characters are little more than well-voiced tropes and the ending itself feels rushed and dissatisfying. But if you're in it just for the mystery of it all, you won't be disappointed!
really cool art, really fun story. only critique is that i wish there was an option to skip repeating dialog
Jogo perfeito, sem palavras.
spent most of my playtime just admiring all the great art, voice acting was pretty good too
全配音和出色的美术动画是很大加分项,解谜难度较低但是推理过程连续流畅,最后的结局显得有些仓促,过量的信息被较生硬地塞进了最后一段很短的演出之中。
A fantastic game. The characters are charming and well-voiced, the art is very interesting, the music is very fitting. Wonderful story, good (but not great) ending. Basically, this game has almost no negatives to it. If you enjoy point & click adventure games or a good mystery, this (and the other games in the Detective Grimoire series for that matter) are a must play.
