Absolutely not, how this is considered a game by anyone's definition is beyond me. Plagued by control input issues, horrible stiff animations, laser beam accurate enemies... I could go on but its not worth the write up. This needs way more time in the oven, but it's looking pretty abandoned right now. Do not waste your time on this, even on sale.
Still in early access but no updates since 2021... Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “The game will stay in Early Access for at least a year, but as long as there are things to be added.”
Game was almost perfect till dev dropped it
refunding, might look back into it later, but the game is in a VERY rough state right now and 20 dollars is a crazy asking price, dont waste your time yet but keep an eye out as it definitely has potential, it just requires a lot of tweaking, but right now the movement is ♥♥♥♥♥ the gameplay is choppy the height changing doesnt work lots of settings on the tablet dont work the sights are very weird the animations are stiff the gripping is weird grabbing the floor pulls you into the shadow realm walking forward a little makes you bounce back when you stop (NOT STICK DRIFT) the ai is buggy the ai aim is godly the sight reticles are way off tutorial very bad ( its mainly text based and shows three main fundamentals and how they work, you have to click which tutorial you want to start, one of them just straight up doesnt work) theres a lot more but you get the point, the game was dormant in terms of updates for about two years, but the dev seems to be active as of march 2024 the game shows promise, and it has very good mechanics but right now they arent very good, the game needs to be fixed desperately and should NOT cost 20 dollars, the dev should change it to no more than 12 USD because as of right now this is seriously half baked and not worth the asking price. good luck dev, i hope your game improves enough that I may come back one day because i was definitely dissapointed i couldnt have fun with this
Fantastic sequel. Sort of like if you took Contractors and turned it into a sandbox game like BoneLab but way more insane. Spawn hundreds of enemies and aly alike for a breathtaking bullet storm!
Dev abandoned the game. Lame.
In 2024, the game seems to be abandoned from what I've seen from others in this community. Nonetheless, if you have the necessary hardware to run the game, you should be fine. The game does have it's jankiness at times, but I've found that most VR games have it so it doesn't negatively impact my review. If you're not picky about that you should be able to enjoy the game. Despite the mixed reviews on the game page, I have been able to have fun. The game is challenging, and has enough content to keep you entertained for hours. Because this game, isn't the easiest. So you won't be breezing through missions in one playthrough, unless you're playing on easy with most units being friendly. If you pump the game difficulty to the max and put the odds in the enemy favor, you will find yourself playing the same mission trying to beat it for an hour until you quit and try the next day. So it can be quite the grind. But a fun one. If you're looking for FPS sandbox type of game this is for you! It reminds me of playing contractors combined with onward. But with the same sort of sandbox style from the TOG 1 game. Overall, the game is a 7/10. If the game had regular support and additions to it, like co-op with friends. I believe it could be way better. But the game is still fun and entertaining otherwise. The price could be lower considering the lack of support the dev seems to be giving this game, thus lowering the overall rating I give it.
Tales Of Glory 2 - Retaliation, Has been on my wishlist for quiet some time, but I never got myself in to buying it. There was this little voice: Mweh...can't be that good. Probably utter sh*t anyways... And then, for some stupid reason I can't even remember; I did buy the game and gave it a spin. "Oh.., this is way better than expected..., way better than War Dust. This is actually...yea...this is...fun!" It feels a bit like an infantry only version of Battlefield 2; in a good way. Besides your vast arsenal (Most has to be unlocked through some sort of ranking system), you also have 4 not so dumb fellow warriors. They're yours to command and look something like from a Navy Seals, goes Delta Force with Ranger School at the Spetnaz HQ, hollywood style. That bad ass. Which is okay for this game. Makes it very clear who's on your team. Sometimes the hitboxes seem a bit off, but it's nothing game breaking. The weapons are just a breeze to use and work as one would expect within such a game. I haven't played that much at the time of writing, but it sure beats most VR shooters and I played a lot. Should you buy it? Well, if you like Co-Op style games (This has only singleplayer, but the A.I. team gives a bit of a Co-Op feeling) then this is a game to keep in mind. Especially if you have fond memories of Battlefield 2 and the early Ghost Recon games.
