I usually wouldn't opt to play a game like this, randomly stumbled upon it and decided to give it a go, was so glad that I did! This game feels like an actual video game - it has its quirks and issues but nothing that breaks the game's immersion or experience. It has an amazing plot, interesting characters, a wealth of gameplay systems/loops that are simple and not forced on the player and the fact this is developed by one guy makes me appreciate this game so much more. TLDR - a game that's not AAA produced but is a AAA experience!

"Tales from The Dancing Moon" is an isometric RPG that blends classic gaming elements with a modern twist. The story is engaging and surprisingly deep, making it a perfect escape after a long day. Each environment is crafted with care, reminiscent of the golden era of RPGs, yet it feels fresh and new. The game's soundtrack perfectly complements the nostalgic atmosphere. There are plenty of things to do to get you engaged, from solving mysteries to exploring different areas of the map, crafting, fighting monsters and more! If you're a fan of the genre or just looking for a game to relax with, Tales is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Lots of fun, beautiful graphics, and you can blow things up. I was pleasantly surprised that what I thought was going to be an obvious end-game twist didn't happen. I've finished the main story, and I'm looking forward to solving the last loose ends when the Epilogue is finished.

This game has a lot of potential but is very bare bones at the moment. Considering it's a solo project, it will probably take a while to be fleshed out into something worthwhile, but it's a good idea to buy it if you want to support a developer doing good work.

I'm not sure where to start. Most games take awhile to grab your attention, or getting to know the characters is slow and tedious, but the quest line grabs your attention right away. And the quests are fun just enough effort to make it feel like a task, but not super difficult. And the music and the sound effects make the game really relaxing and enjoyable. I haven't gotten much into the crafting parts yet, I'm still in the beginning. But when I saw it had fishing, and farming and cooking, and quests and adventure, and a great story line, I had to try it. But it's not like those other farming games, or survival games that over complex and stressful, this is just the right amount of detail. It's just what I've been looking for! I really hope the developer expands more on this game, like the others reviews say, the areas feel a little small, and the way this is designed, it really wants to make you go exploring. This is a great game. And I feel like it's not getting the attention and ratings it deserves. I hope others will give it a try and leave some reviews. :D

Quite a good farming/crafting game with a neat story to it. Some stuff was a bit too connected to the story for my taste but I have enjoyed it. To explain, I enjoy the most in farming sims when you can change the city/village as you play and this game delivered on it but the way you unlocked stuff to build was connected to the story in a way that made good sense but was overly concentrated to act 3, so before that there where a couple of buildings to build in act 2 and a lot of decorations starting from act 1. It makes sense but I had to wait a bit too much to fill empty sandbox space

I know what you're thinking. You look at the logo, the pictures and videos and think: Hmmm... at this pricetag, is this game really worth a buy ? I was in the same situation, especially it's hard to decide if you look at the reviews and there aren't that much. But let me tell you something (LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING *sorry, insider joke lol*)... This game is an hidden gem and absolutely underrated. If you're really interested, feel free and download the demo and play it by yourself. If you're a fan of RPG/Life simulation games with an interesting story, farming, crafting, seasons and so much more .... you will love and not regret it, I am sure. Keep in mind, it's an indie title and maybe some things can be a bit rough or clunky, but the overall feeling of this game is absolutely awesome. Grab this game, grab a cup of tea, coffee or anything else and enjoy your time in the Dancing Moon ! My rating: 9 out of 10, because I always wanted a game like this and finally got it ! I´ve played the game for 1,5 hours and I got vibes from Runescape and Animal Crossing and otherwise classic RPG. Combat was bit clumsy but I'm sure it will improve over time. Building and crafting mechanics are pretty familiar to modern day crafting games. Fishing had a minigame I've never seen before and it was pretty good for my tastes. Story seems interesting so far and I'll return to the game for sure when it comes out for real. Very solid indiegame so far.

Great game if you like fetch quests. Otherwise, not good.
