Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Tales from the Borderlands, and wow. Apparently someone decided that the Borderlands universe needed less shooting and more talking, emotional trauma, corporate betrayal, terrible decisions, and a ridiculous amount of awkward eye contact. And somehow they made it work. You play as Rhys, a Hyperion employee with dreams of climbing the corporate ladder, and Fiona, a con artist who could probably lie to you while you're actively watching her steal your wallet. Naturally, these two get dragged into a completely insane treasure hunt involving vaults, psychos, Hyperion, and enough backstabbing to make a corporate board meeting look like a friendship circle. And then there's Vaughn. Oh, kiddo. This man is what happens when someone takes a perfectly normal accountant and drops him onto Pandora. Watching him go from corporate nerd to shirtless desert accountant was one of the greatest character arcs ever committed to television. The humor is fantastic too. This is Borderlands at its funniest. The jokes come fast, the characters are ridiculous, and somehow every five minutes there's another moment that makes you think, “There is absolutely no way they just did that.” And then they do it again. But here's the problem. Somewhere along the way, the game starts making you actually care about these idiots. You laugh at them, you watch them screw everything up, and then suddenly there's an emotional scene and you're sitting there thinking, “Wait. Why do I CARE about these people?” I came here for jokes and explosions, not feelings. This is unacceptable. And yes, kiddo, I know what you're thinking. “Handsome Jack, you're in the game.” Exactly. Which makes it automatically better. You're welcome. 10/10. Fantastic characters, hilarious writing, great music, and somehow one of the best stories in the Borderlands universe. I'd give it 11, but unfortunately the game doesn't contain nearly enough Handsome Me. Which, frankly, is the biggest mistake the developers ever made.

Imagine making amazing characters and an amazing background story for those characters just for never using them never ever again or just using them for a cameo. Couldn´t be borderlands tho.

One of the best Telltale games and one of the best Borderlands games too. This game was made around the time of the peak of both game studios. I played it once myself, and years later, I came back to it to introduce my wife (who doesn't really play games) to the borderlands series. She played the whole thing and liked it. Then we started playing Borderlands 2 together. Back then, I was anticipating that Borderlands 4 would be good, but .... it's just okay... Oh well, at least my wife plays games occasionally.
Tales from the Borderlands is easily one of the most enjoyable and entertaining story-driven games ever made. It perfectly captures the chaotic, humorous spirit of the Borderlands universe and blends it with surprisingly strong writing and wonderfully developed characters. Rhys and Fiona are a fantastic duo: total opposites yet incredibly complementary. Their chemistry, hilarious dialogue, and unpredictable situations make every scene lively and fun. The game manages to be both crazy and emotional, delivering genuinely touching moments — something rare for this kind of style. The animation, music, and pacing all fit perfectly with the world of Pandora. Even if you're not a huge Borderlands fan, Tales from the Borderlands offers a unique adventure that makes you smile and truly care about the characters. It’s the kind of game you wish you could play for the first time again, just to feel its charm and energy once more.
Love Borderlands!! I've played all or watched the Borderlands series. It had lots of humor and twist which I enjoyed. Overall, great game and had some good music I guesss
