I’m so happy I played this instead of putting it off to the side since it doesn’t fit the looter-shooter genre like previous entries in the franchise. This game legitimately has the best story of all the games I’ve played in the Borderlands franchise, which was expected because Telltale doesn’t disappoint when it comes to impactful stories and making characters you actually care about. This game also features the best final fight sequence out of all the previous Borderlands games I’ve played. I wouldn’t have expected that from a Telltale game in a predominantly shooting-based franchise, but I was blown away by the final sequence way more than the previous games. It finishes very strong. Definitely play this game after playing Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel for maximum enjoyment! 100% Achievement Completion Perspective: All achievements are story-related. If you finish the game, you will inevitably 100% it. Gave me a nice break from my normal achievement-hunting practices.

this game really makes you feel like you heard some tales from the borderlands
I replayed this game after 10 years and I think it's still good and the humour and writing is a bit similar to Borderlands 2. However I've also realised that there's barely any gameplay segments and most the game consists of cutscenes and quick time events. Overall I would rate it 7/10.
This is an amazing game by telltale and way better than other borderlands games. It got a nice story, likeable and memorable characters, humorous and hella enjoyable.
TellTale has rarely disappointed :3

Tales from the Borderlands, being a Tales game, isn't one I would recommend to everybody, but rather those who either want to follow the Borderlands story having played every game so far, or maybe played Borderlands 3 and want to know more about Rhys and Vaughn. Over a 10 hour or so playthrough, you follow a story that has the single best writing in the entire Borderlands series, and can get genuinely emotional, a rarity for a Borderlands game. Overall I would highly recommend it, provided you played at least Borderlands 2 and know what kind of game you're getting into.
