Taken Souls: Blood Ritual Collector's Edition

Pretty good HOG. 8/10.

Having serious problems progressing the game. Its not good enough to continue. The acting is not good, with very strange accents, and the picture of Tower bridge is not enough to convince anyone its set in London. Pity, because the artwork is good and the first HOG was reasonable. I might try installing it on an older computer if I need something to play and have run out of other options.

Ładna i przyjemnie zrobiona gra. Dobry dźwięk i muzyka, klimatyczna grafika. Chwilami łamigłówki toporne i irytujące. Ale całość ok. Na niecałe 4 godziny grania.

Кажется, что эта игра была создана кем-то, кому она очень-очень понравилась. А также некоторыми другими людьми, которым она не понравилась. Сбои в работе, многочисленные сбои на рабочем столе, плохой перевод - особенно это важно в сценах поиска предметов (малина - это не клубника, веревки - не бечевка и т.д.). Оформление и механизмы игрового процесса великолепны, но им мешает очень грубое и поспешное кодирование. Одну планетарную головоломку я "решил" несколько раз (она издавала радостный звук и выгоняла меня из игры), но я все равно не мог продвинуться вперед, поэтому мне пришлось подождать, пока загорится кнопка пропуска, чтобы продолжить игру. Наконец-то я с облегчением закончил игру, и когда я увидел, что в ней есть бонусная глава, я сразу же перешел к ней, чего раньше никогда не делал. Жаль, потому что в ней много души, много хороших идей и несколько действительно замечательных настроек. Но в конечном счете он настолько неисправен, что я не могу его рекомендовать.

Taken Souls: Blood Ritual Collector's Edition is a hidden object game (HOG) about a policeman trying to solve a murder mystery case and encounters souls. This is another typical HOG that you'll encounter on Steam, but this one has a few interesting added features to it it help you find clues and other story elements. The camera you have will take pictures of evidence you find. You also have a UV lamp to find fingerprints, which will upgrade your tools. In your police office, you have things that will help you solve the case and piece things together. The game is taken place in Paris, France. There are a few cutscenes in the game to watch. The characters look weird as usual, but I appreciate the fact that they move when they speak to you. There is music throughout the game that will change with certain locations and the characters will speak dialogue to you. I don't know what it is about these HOGs, but most of them seem to be not as intriguing as they lead on. I wasn't fully invested in the story as I didn't find it very entertaining.

A decent game with cool art but prone to crashing. At a critical point in the story the game crashes every time i try to open a door. You cant progress at all if you do not enter that room making the game impossible to complete. Also the devs are not responding at all on the forum.
