Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Tails of Iron is a great, short, 2-D souls like with lots of charm and beautiful art. While the style looks a lot like Hollow Knight this plays more like Dark Souls 1 or Salt and Sanctuary. (Sword and board, not a lot of platforming.) However, this game does not have any stamina constraints which makes it a lot easier than the aforementioned. It’s short and concise, there are not many maps so you will spend a lot of time running back and forth in the same places a lot, but I didn’t mind because the game is such a joy to look at. The combat is dodge rolls, blocking, and parrying. All the enemies have a universal symbol animation to telegraph the type of attack they will do, so once you learn the tells and get the muscle memory to react properly the combat starts feeling really good. I did struggle at first learning the ‘red circle’ mechanic. These moves are aoe (area of effect) but that area varies depending on the size of the enemy. So, you need to learn those from trial and error and pay close attention to your positioning when fighting large enemies. If you are backed into a corner and they aoe you are going to get hit. This is an RPG but there is no experience or levels. Stats are entirely determined by your gear, and there is a ridiculous amount of it (possibly too much). By the end of the game I found I appreciated lighter gear as it makes you move and dodge faster which is helpful for avoiding those pesky aoe attacks. It took me about 10 hours to roll credits, and another couple hours doing endgame content (which is really fun, don’t skip it.) By this point I felt like an unstoppable rat warrior, and I beat most of the end game bosses in 1 or 2 attempts. I look forward to playing the sequel. This is a polished game with a lot of love put into it.
Bastante divertido.
Story is fun and narrated well. I would say the game is a positive and worth a few bucks on sale, just do the story mode if you are a completion type person. The last achievement will be impossible for most to get, pretty much beating one of the later bosses on hardest difficulty. Downvote is for the forced dodged and parry mechanic. There are some attacks that must be dodged or parried. This is not a proper I-frames game. The combat also favors allowing enemy sequence attacks over the player's. Some fights feel fair and fun to learn. Other fights are just ridiculous. What's really frustrating is the game trains you by giving you visual queues to dodge or parry based on a color sequence. The problem is that near the end all the enemy's have different times you should be pressing the button based on the queue. Your muscle memory will kick in and screw you over making it so you are dodge or parrying at the wrong time. I was thinking the game was more positive than negative until I got to one of the later arena fights. There is a opponent who's attack sequence and openings is horrendous. I am playing on normal and there are some fights that sucked but this one is borderline unbeatable. Also enemies have true I frames and their openings that you think that you can hit them they are still invincible. It's insanely frustrating. This doesn't show up until the back half of the game. There is one more mechanic that drives me nuts. Character speed changes based on if you have no weapon out, one handed, or two handed. Swapping in and out of weapons is almost instant. But to succeed is some fights it is literally based on if you can hit the put weapon away button quick enough so you can move around quick enough to get a hit in or be positioned to not get hit. This mechanic alone is horrible, my speed should be constant based on character weight. Terrible mechanic. Quite a few of my hours in this game are idle, it's probably 10-15 hours of content at most.
If you're looking for a game where blocking is a mandatory mechanic but it doesn't work 100% of the time, you've found it.
Great game. Beautiful art. Interersting plot. Checkpoints are frequent.
Finally completed Bloody Whisker mode and got full Steam achievements for Tails of Iron. What an absolute gem of a game! Now on to Tails of Iron 2!
