Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 21 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is absolutely amazing!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

雖然沒太多新東西,但還是讚
Played this one right after I beat the first one. The beginning was rough. I felt very weak. One hit from any enemy got my health to 1 hp. Healing take forever, so it's hard to rely on that during battle. The 2 handed weapons strike so much slower than in the first one, so I rarely used it unless it was a shielded weapon. Once you are able to upgrade your health and get the level 2 armors and weapons, the combat becomes much more enjoyable. Max health and gear makes you feel almost invincible. I like that there are a lot of bosses, but wish that with some of them, you didn't have to fight them in 2 to 3 different places. It got tedious. Story is good. Gets depressing at times, but also epic. The new dlc content was fine. Really needed a new area to explore after beating the main quest. I recommend the game if you do like the first one, but you might not like the beginning at first.
No cambia la fórmula del I porque funcionó y simplemente no hay que tocar lo que funciona. Me encantó también por su simplicidad y por ponerle algún pero, los subtitulos a veces ocupan media pantalla.
hat so viel spaß gemacht
Awesome as the first game, love the new crafting added here and a small mole shop before every boss fight.
In se il gioco non è male ma sono stato deluso dalle buone possibilità del primo, disattese in questo secondo. Per certe cose è anzi peggiore del primo e ne condivide tutti i difetti; peccato.
My score: 7.5/10 ⭐ TL;DR: A polished 2D Soulslike with gorgeous hand-crafted visuals, solid combat, and an underwhelming elemental system that adds more inconvenience than depth.
Overview
A robust 2D Soulslike heavily based on telegraphed attacks, dodging and parrying, with no stamina management and a permanent healing flask. It's very similar to its predecessor (read my review🔗here), with the main gameplay difference being the new elemental system. The previous game's equipment and weapon alignment based on enemy species has been replaced with a more traditional elemental system: fire, ice, lightning and poison. It sacrifices a bit of the series' identity in the process, but the system does allow for some flexibility without forcing you to constantly swap weapons and armor. Most enemies are weak to two elements and resistant to the other two, so chances are you'll already be equipped for the job. The problem is that the system rarely feels like a meaningful strategic layer; it's mostly an inconvenience, especially when roughly 85% of enemies seem to be weak to fire anyway. A few other questionable design choices—such as mission bosses occasionally running away and making you chase them across the map—and a story that borrows heavily from Game of Thrones without ever feeling particularly deep or compelling keep the game from reaching its full potential.
One Thing I Liked / One Thing I Didn’t
✔️ Liked: The art direction and environments. Beautiful, detailed, and full of personality. ✖️ Didn't: Some mission structures, especially the ones that turn into a game of "chase that bastard across the map."
Key Points
[*]
DIFFICULTY:
Challenging, but somehow a little more forgiving than its predecessor. An Hard Mode is available from the start for those looking for a real challenge, although thankfully it's no longer tied to an achievement like it was in the first game. [*]
PRESENTATION:
Gorgeous hand-crafted visuals with that wonderfully detailed pop-up-book aesthetic. Perhaps slightly less inspired than the first game, but still a joy to look at. The soundtrack is pleasant and the sound effects are nicely done. [*]
STORY:
The story is constantly narrated by Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series. Thankfully, it's never particularly intrusive: there are no lengthy cutscenes or forced pauses, and you're almost always free to move around while the story unfolds. [*]
GAMEPLAY/GAMEPLAY LOOP:
A 2D Soulslike with platforming elements, telegraphed attacks, dodging, parrying, and no stamina management. The elemental system adds some flexibility, although I wouldn't call it particularly deep. [*]
TECHNICAL POLISH:
No bugs or glitches detected. [*]
MONEYxCONTENT VALUE:
It comes pretty close to my €1 = 1 hour rule: I played for 22 hours including the free DLC, for a total spend of €25. The level of craft and polish makes the price easy to justify, and the game goes on sale fairly often. There's also a Steam bundle containing both games in the series, which is a very good deal if this is your kind of game.

Free update: "Blood & Brine"
A very welcome free addition that adds roughly two hours of gameplay, several bosses, new achievements, and—most importantly—the ability to go fishing. And honestly, fishing is almost always a welcome addition. A solid piece of free DLC.
Tails Of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter is one of my favourite games. It's beautifully narrated. Looks fantastic, smooth gameplay with great mechanics. The game is also offers a good challenge in Bloody Whiskers mode.
