In Tactical Breach Wizards, you lead a team of renegade wizards in kevlar through turn-based battles to unravel a modern conspiracy plot. Combine their unique spells in clever ways, or rewind time to try every crazy plan you can think of to punch a Traffic Warlock through a 4th story window.

Great turn based tactics game with fun challenges and abilities
time to get heat signature and gunpoint. I like these kinds of tactical turn-based games more than X-COM or fire emblem, because it's less punishing and more constructive. rather than there being a particularly bad risk of failure, you just lose some time restarting the level. instead, the difficulty comes from finding the best way to defeat the level, completing optional objectives, or defeating everyone in one turn or defenestrating everyone or without intel and mana, or at the hardest difficulty. the only thing it's missing is a style meter.

Came for the gameplay, stayed for the storytelling A masterpiece
they are wizards and they are tactical
While the global videogame industry continues to chew its own legs off in the chaos of a corporate feeding frenzy, the true art of game design continues to rely on a small band of rebellious heroes who ply their indie dev craft with passion, commitment and the authority that comes from actually knowing, loving and playing games just as we do. In short, they are clueless shmucks, driven by pitiful devotion to a hobby that will ensure they never see any kind of reward commensurate with their efforts, and certainly never achieving anything like the lifestyle of the average CEO. And that is why I play their games. The fruits of their life-scuppering labours taste so good, and they only cost a few quid! Seriously, folks, this is the good stuff. Finely honed mechanics. Genuine synergies to discover between team members and their unique skills. Dialogue and humour that treats you like an adult. Remember when X-COM would lie to your face that the hit chance was 90%, but the random seed was fixed so you were doomed to fluff every time? Screw that. No RNG sabotage here, just freeform, solve-it-as-you-like tactical combat with a puzzle-edge of objectives and a Rewind function to test different approaches, each map adjusting its pace and threat to the narrative of the campaign. After 50 hours that included replays for cheevos and custom maps, I'm just about burnt out -- for now. But TBW was the perfect retreat from summer heat, and I'll be back for my 100% at a later date. Because knocking people out of windows is a breath of fresh air, and on so many levels! Okay, may have over-contrived that last part.

Fun and funny. I like the characters a lot, and their interactions. One of the lines tickled me so much I wrote it down to remember. Gameplay is about knocking fools around until they go away, out a window or into the environment.
