About
Create your own original games, import custom assets, automate games with scripting, set up complete RPG dungeons, manipulate the physics, create hinges & joints, and of course flip the table when you are losing the game. All with an easy to use system integrated with Steam Workshop. You can do anything you want in Tabletop Simulator. The possibilities are endless!
Tabletop Simulator has it all. The base game includes 15 classics like Chess, Poker, Jigsaw Puzzles, Dominoes, and Mahjong. Additionally, there are thousands of community created content on the Workshop. If you’re the tabletop gaming type, we include an RPG Kit which has tilesets & furniture, as well as animated figurines that you can set up and battle with your friends, with even more options in the Chest. There’s even an option for Game Masters so they can control the table!
If you’re into creativity and prototyping, you can easily create your own games by importing images onto custom boards & tables, create custom decks, import 3D models, create scripts, and much more. You can choose to upload your creations on the Steam Workshop or share them privately with your friends.
Everyone can play Tabletop Simulator! Play a classic board game with grandma, have poker night with the guys, or start your epic RPG adventure with your crew. Play almost any tabletop game you can think of! Being a multiplayer-focused game, up to 10 players can play at any given time.
Our downloadable content (DLCs) are different from other games, as we partner with developers and publishers to bring their games into Tabletop Simulator. Each DLC is custom created with high quality assets and special themes that match their games. And best of all, only the host needs to own the DLC for everyone at the table to play.

Has just about a little something for everyone. Like any board you name it and it's there in the workshop.
Really fun for MTG. I like testing decks against my friends and if i like the deck enough i buy it.
I am playing some Napoleonic Kriegsspiel. The British Isle have been invaded and their first line of defense is on the ropes. On the fly I decide I want to keep better track of losses, so I download a legal pad asset and have it in my game within five minutes of realizing I need one. I want to keep track of low ammo states, not something included in the base module. So again, less than five minutes and I pull tokens from another game into my KS file and now can keep track of basic ammo status. Every time I realize I need to do something, TTS has the power to let me do that (or find a user module to address this exact problem) which gets me back to playing. Not designing. Not searching. Not programming or fighting UI. Just rolling dice and moving pieces. Exactly what you want. TTS is not a game, its a platform or toolset. If creates a 3D representation of any game you could reasonably play on an IRL table. Its a VTT like most others. Its main selling feature is that its 3D, so you gain a ton of life-like fidelity versus something like Vassal or Roll20. The big question is how well it works. I thought it would be very difficult to use, but its actually incredibly easy. Addictively easy. The game presents the minimum possible barrier to VTT usage and I prefer it over other software I've used. Its easy to get pieces on a table and move them around. Pretty simple to build tables with terrain, boards, or whatever. So if you know what you need and want a minimum, you could get playing quite rapidly. But then every time something comes up, I need some weird custom tokens, or I want to have a notepad to write on, or Maxwell to keep me company, I can just hop onto the Steam Workshop, download exactly the module I need, and have it in my game inside of 5 min. With stuff like this, the toolset needs to minimize the time between thought and in-game action, TTS is incredibly short to the point you almost forget its there. Which is exactly what you want from platform software like this. The only problem is that user made tables break very easily through link decay, so some cool looking custom games & tablesets will be unplayable. I wish there was some way to make a module more permanent without requiring frequent updating & maintenance. 9/10
