A short story-driven horror game with a worn VHS finish. Move into the last house on Sycamore Street, unpack, meet the neighbor, and find out why the dog won't go near the attic. After dark, hide in the wardrobe, watch through the slats, and try to get a phone signal.

I'm sorry, I don't normally leave a bad review, but this was atrocious. I can see the potential, so don't give up, but the game is way too buggy and the chain of events just makes no sense. First of all, I head several game breaking bugs just in the first 15 mins alone. Being stuck reading a note, stuck under the staircase of the neighboring home or the game not triggering the next event. On top of that, several non game breaking bugs - which are funny, don't get me wrong. But they are only funny if they are the only ones. Otherwise, it feels like the development team lacked the skill or just didn't care. I really hope it's the former because you can always improve on that. <--! Could Spoiler a little --> Another area to improve on, would be the story. I know that horror protagonists are just inheritely slow to pick up on danger and they never think rationally. That's the case for most horror games. While I don't like the trope, I can tolerate it in most horror games. But in this one, it feels like the protagonists wants to die and cannot wait to be brutally murdered by the guy with the knife. "Oh, someone broke into my home, made a mess, put a creepy picture on the TV, left the back door wide open, approached me on my porch, chased me down with a knife and tried to kill me until the police came to help me... let me go to sleep without cleaning up and leaving that creepy picture on the TV with all the doors still wide open". And the police goes through the house with the creepy picture and everything scattered on the floor with THE DOORS WIDE OPEN: "Must have been the wind, good night". My genuine reaction: =.= --> (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻ I'm not gonna refund it to support y'all with the hope of you improving with your next game, but this wasn't it.
