About

Test your mettle (but also your metal) as you discover and unleash the power behind a multitude of magical swords to defeat an otherworldly Celestial evil! Your quest will challenge your reactions, lead you through treacherous biomes, and pit you against the most formidable enemies and bosses.

A giant blade has plunged into the world of Armorial, bringing a hail of smaller blades along with it. The calamitous sword seems to be draining the power of the planet itself, and with each passing day, the rain of swords grows heavier and heavier. To undo this vile corruption, you’ll play as Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield the fallen blades. It's time to make a stand against the Celestial evil that seeks to destroy the kingdom!

As you venture forth, each new sword you find will come with a unique ability, aka its Swordcery. These abilities allow you to perform magical feats like: hurling your sword out in boomerang-like fashion, thundering down as a bolt of lightning, opening up hellfire fissures, or summoning a ring of protective icy swordflakes!

Every blade you find is categorized into a Sword Class, which has its own set of offensive maneuvers. From specific combos to unique abilities, each Sword Class may be more advantageous due to the terrain or combat situation. It is up to you to master and acknowledge which Sword Class's attributes and attacks will work in unison along with your mighty Swordcery abilities. Enemy encounters will test your ability to recognize patterns, reactions to telegraphed attacks, your ability to utilize both melee and various magical attacks, as well as your resource management skills while in the heat of battle.

Each new run, you can expect to discover new swords, find various relics to add to your playstyle, choose new sword class upgrades, and trek through procedurally generated dungeons.

I like this game. The controls are a bit janky, combat feels a little off and you seem to be a bit too sluggish in movement. Other than that I'm enjoying it. The weapons are varied as are the pickups and I can see some cool synergies that can happen. 1 thing I find very annoying is that you have to press M to open the map and either press F (or E for some weird reason) after using wsad to move your cursor over a cleared room. Can we please just use the mouse on the map screen and left click to port to your chosen room.
A really good game. There are TONS of different swords all with different abilities, and move sets to try out. The art and animation is fantastic, and there's really cute enemies.
First, I want to say this game has alot to like. The themes for swords, finding new ones, the abilities of them etc. are excellent. And the gameplay is fun as well. However the polish for the game isn't there yet. Controls are awkward at times, selecting swords from the quick menu feels sluggish and the mapping for controls is a bit all over the place. Normally you would expect to remap the controls, but that does not seem to be an option at this time. BUT that is all still manageable if the game would actually work correctly on ultrawide monitors. The game did auto select resolution to match the monitor but the UI is cut off at the bottom of the screen. This is in Fullscreen mode and deselecting Fullscreen does not resolve the issue. The game needs correct resolution scaling as well as Borderless Fullscreen options. Also the game does not like switching between controller and mouse/keyboard, like when you are in settings for example. It sometimes simply just won't show your mouse cursor at all and even will leave you stuck in a menu on rare occasion. I did refund this game, though will likely consider purchasing again once it get some QOL love. And I would recommend the game still, it's really cool and has tons of potential, just know that it needs a bit of polish is all. Hope this helps the devs should they see it. Appreciate anyone reading.
New to this rogue genre and kickstarters. But this is really fun slashing with cool new swords each run!
If you played the demo you know what you are getting into . A solid rougelite with tons of swords! There are some enemies that feel a little wonky with the combos but over all this is a solid game with a good gameplay loop. Definitely worth the money for a couple of hours of fun.
What an awesome game. I am kind of obligated to say this as a backer, but honestly, it truly is. I love the style, the enemies, the music, and most of all, trying out all the different swords and sword types. For me, it is definitely on the more challenging side, but that also makes it very interesting. The in-game skill tree is a great help if you are struggling early on. Is it Early Access? Yes, but you can barely feel it. It already feels like a very solid game with a lot of potential, and I am really curious to see how it will develop. Controller recommended for playing, but not required!
Fun and challenging rougelite. Very replay-able with the variety of swords and sword types to play with!
Having backed this on Kickstarter many many years ago and completely forgotten about it, this came out of nowhere. In short: - It is clunky - its UI is utterly atrocious if you use a controller and extremely inconsistent, this game was never touched by an experienced UI/UX professional - its general artstyle looks like "generic mobile ad game" - of course it has Roguelite elements bolted on to pad the playtime needlessly It took me 15 minutes to nope out of this. It is completely forgettable in every single way imagineable.
