Even with unofficial patches for [i]SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year Edition[/i] fails to be anything more than a relic of a bygone era. As with all video games from the 90s, even when supposedly updated years later, the controls are maddening, enemies blend in easily with their low-resolution environments, and no optimization has been provided for modern devices, as demonstrated by the intense frame drops that occur when pop-ups appear on the screen during missions. This product borders dangerously on the level of unplayable, and consumers would be better entertained by playing [i]SWAT 4[/i] (2005).

게임 들어가는 것 부터 설정을 해주고 들어가야함. 시작옵션에 -nointro 넣어야 한다는 걸 포럼에서 찾아보고 정상적으로 플레이하려면 모드도 설치해줘야한다. 그렇게 들어오면 출시일과 걸맞는 수준의 해상도를 자랑한다. 심지어 창모드로 전환할 수도 없음. 알트탭하면 마우스가 없어지는 버그가 있어 게임을 키는 순간부터 끄는 순간까지 게임에만 집중해야 하는 게임. 옛날 게임 특유의 불편함도 있다. 기본적으로 움직이는 키가 방향키다. 그 상태에서 마우스도 써야하고 기울이기 등 다른 키도 사용해야한다. 무언가 시도를 많이해서 다양한 기능이 있지만 너무 세분화되어있다. 기울이기 키를 한 번 더 누른다고 돌아오지 않는다. '안' 기울이기 키를 설정해줘야한다. 이런 고전게임에 기대를 품지 마시고 레디오어낫하세요.

really crazy purchased the game and would not start at all, they never fixed or gave me another copy of the game and this sucks.

Es un juegazo, de los mejores del mundo pero no funciona. NO LO COMPRES porque STEAM no lo corre. Pero es de mis favoritos.

Il miglior gioco tattico/coop/realistico mai realizzato nei primi anni 2000. Peccato che è ormai vecchio e senza servers Sierra. Magari facessero un remastered. Per fortuna c'è il nuovo Ready or Not che possiamo considerarlo SWAT 5. Spero che mettano in Steam SWAT 4 che è già presente in GOG. The best tactical/coop/realistic game ever made in the early 2000s. Too bad it's now old and without Sierra servers. Maybe they'd do a remastered. Luckily there's the new Ready or Not which we can consider new SWAT 5. I hope they put SWAT 4 on Steam, which is already available on GOG.
