Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You have been sent alone to the dwarf planet Ceres. You must endure the harsh environment while you gather, craft, and build the basics required to stay alive. Build machines, facilities, and farms as you establish a foothold in this icy world.
No tedious gathering of the same materials over and over. Once you acquire a material and locate deep deposits, you can build and use drills to automate collection.
The modular base building makes building easy for players who are not creative, while place-able objects, decorations, and glass variations allow more creative players to go wild.
Export rare materials and manufactured goods back to Earth to earn funding. This funding is used to research new technologies and upgrades. You can also import supplies from Earth to supplement your needs.
Once you have established a viable base, including some colonist-specific modules such as the barracks, mess hall, and rec room, you can call in passenger ships with people to join your colony. Then, put your colonists to work on advanced facilities used to create complex goods, defend against hostile aliens, and perform other advanced functions such as terraforming and power generation.
Once you begin terraforming the planet, ice melts, giving you access to new areas. Here, you will find more advanced materials used to advance the terraforming process.
As terraforming advances, you will need to defend yourself against attacks from hostile alien creatures on the ground and in the air. Eventually, you will take the fight to them by destroying alien nests and going on expeditions to eliminate all hostile life forms to make Ceres safe for humanity.
The higher the difficulty settings combined with how quickly you complete milestones or the terraforming of Ceres will determine how well you score on the leaderboards. Can you be efficient and reach the top spot?
So what are you waiting for? Get in there and start terraforming the dwarf planet Ceres into a viable human colony today.

6/14/2025: I will say this is a hard one, I do recommend it for the survival aspect. Although I only spent a few hours playing, it has amazing potential. I would suggest working on the basics when starting out. Like Oxygen, then get the ice drill and start you frosty adventure. Good luck survivalist. Update 6/19/2025: Worth the time to play, this game is so much more. Yes the buildings are basic, and the beginning is not very good. But the simulated crew you get later is amazing, and the terraforming is so cool. Worth the time and money to play, build, craft, and make money. It gets better the more you play, and FYI build turrets as soon as you can, when the aliens attack they hit hard......have fun!
This is a 6/10 game right now. I'm upvoting it as I think the dev can improve on it, if he is willing to change things. After playing the game for 3 hours, I’d say I have mixed feelings. It’s not bad, just ultimately very conventional in its interactions—simplistic even. It lacks that subtle je ne sais quoi. The case of obtaining water is typical: digging for ice (which actually respawns very quickly, but a drill gives you more than you’ll ever need, so the game becomes too easy as well), building a water maker—literally, making water—and that’s it, done. Water becomes a non-issue 30 minutes into the game. Same for oxygen, same for food. Planet Crafter is a bit more challenging in that regard. The game lacks a certain variability, difficulty, subtlety. It's simplistic in its approach of too many game loops. The other major point is base construction. And I won’t dwell on the lack of building rotation or standardized sizes—these are known issues. No, the real problem, I think—and it will be hard for the dev to change—is that far too many functions require their own dedicated room, all of which look similar: corridor-like, basic in shape (with the exception of the farm, which is made of curved glass—much more pleasant). As a result, you inevitably end up creating a labyrinthine, snaking base where you’re running from corridor to corridor to start metal block production, fuel, check your rocket, etc. You get lost in your own base. Nearly all other games in the genre allow you to build empty rooms and place machines or installations inside them. So I think this is the main issue, beyond the too simplistic game loops: the design choice to tie too many functions to specific rooms. I also know the game has a very low budget, but those black square rooms… honestly, no, they’re just too cheap-looking. I’d advise the dev to take the basic farm model, make variants of it—bigger, longer, rounder, however he likes—and allow players to install whatever machines they want in them (refineries, etc.).

Human lands on our planet. Reverse-Terraforms it. Nukes our homes. Invades our nests. And WE are the bad guys? - Aliens Watch my take, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11nYl74xaLU Enjoy yet another satisfying trip to some random corner of the Universe where, as the Good Guy, you expand Humanity's Reach and ruin the planet permanently for a multitude of Alien species, all while bringing colonists and feeding them ungoly amounts of Tomato and Melons until the job's done. Have your defences stand the ground as you perform Capitalism, exporting luxury goods to Earth as the locals sleep with the sounds of your drills ruining the surface of their previous hometown Avenge the previous brave Pilgrims by spamming turrets in your base approaches, finally reaching your Green World Goal by means of excessive violence. Surviving Ceres is a great and neat addition to the Survival / Colonization / Terraforming genre, even if rough around some edges - there is excessive amounts of handcrafting, and the lack of automation unnecessarily extends playtime and breaks the otherwise frantic (or cozy-progressive) flow of such games. Think Planet Crafter early versions, where everything was handmade and automation was barely attainable. The dev surprisingly seems to not be done with the game, and seems to have fixes, changes, and a potential large update with the addition of another planet if all goes well. While I would adjust expectations here to the reality of it being a solo-made game with smaller scope or range than other similar games, it's still worth a check. If, like me, you're averse to the lack of automation, breaking of flow, and excessive handcrafting, I'd wait until the next updates hits. I do have to point out the different amount of systems and the little amount of bugs and issues - issues I had are largely tied to more recent additions, like automated drones. Dev has the potential to make the next game be an even tighter take to a genre. Wishing him all the best!
You build things to make things that will let you build more things so you can make stuff to build things as you slowly terraform the planet and bugs try to destroy things you made. Watch as windmills are also watermills, behold rockets that you can stand under and take no damage from, get the ore! make things with the ore. Make a robot. Watch as people sit in midair, watch as people eat nothing! O_o; forget how to make the thing that you need to make for the thing!!! wish you had built the thing over there, fall as you remove the room! Game is still in the works, dev is very open to ideas/feedback and active :) game has a leader board for speed runners who care about that sort of thing.
this is an excellent survival builder, i would have loved a multiplayer option to game with my friends on it, but the fact it doesnt have one makes it no less of a good game. i would have loved a way to fight back more directly though.
THIS IS MY OPINION AS A PLAYER. I played Surviving Ceres for 28 hours, exploring all the mechanics, and I can say: this game has a lot of potential! The survival and resource management base is solid and addictive, with a world full of discoveries. It still needs some polishing, but it's exciting to see how much it can grow. It's worth keeping a close eye on! The survival and resource management mechanics are well implemented and intertwine naturally, creating that addictive “just one more day” cycle that keeps the player hooked for hours. THIS IS A MORE TECHNICAL OPINION. There is still room for improvement—such as refinements to the interface and greater variety in some events—but the game already delivers a solid and engaging foundation. It's clear that the developers have an ambitious vision, and with updates and polish, Surviving Ceres can reach a very high level.translator
I really like the game <3 but it has crashed twice on me today and i saw game saved flash up a few times in the last 2 hours but it froze and crashed again and then i log back in and 2 hours worth of game play gone.... I just don't think i can continue the way it is atm which is a shame.
I played the game for a while in early access, and it really has room for improvement. The game looks better now than it did then, so I think I'll have to take another look.
You have to grind to get anywhere in this game, but i found it fun. I enjoyed the game. Positives: missions to follow to progress the game, some loot drops along the way to help, able to make the game easier or harder by changing numerous variables, i enjoyed the crafting progression. Negatives: limited to a small space, cant explore over the hills, when ice walls defrost, it leads to areas already explored... not something new, Alien bacteria sampler is useless. Not sure i would buy at full price, but would buy again on special. I used an easier setting completed games missions in about 4 days. Still playable and can exapnd more, but missions objectives are coompleted now. Note for developer: expand past the mountain border to allow for village creation maybe and allow for a colonising city to be built in a bigger area.
🪐🏗️ “From frozen wasteland to tropical paradise—Surviving Ceres lets you craft, build, and manage a colony on the icy dwarf planet. Export goods, keep colonists alive, fend off hostile aliens, and terraform your way to glory. It’s survival, strategy, and space-farming rolled into one epic adventure.” ❄️🌴 ⭐ 5/5 — I recommend this game! Perfect for fans of base-building, strategy, and cosmic colonization. 🚀 👉 Check it out here: https://youtu.be/r0gdoo58lEM
