'Survive The Dark is a zombie style survival game in which you will be hunting for various items, crafting some things and generally trying to survive waves of the undead. But in reality, the only real battle for survival here is to force yourself to keep playing the game. But maybe that is being a little too harsh because it only costs £3.99 and is designed to be played with the TactSuit X haptic feedback suit. But I don't have that, all I had was my Rift and motion controllers. With its terrible controls and low-poly graphics, this is not a game you will more than once but I would imagine with the feedback suit it will be a lot more fun. For now, I will give it the thumbs up because it does seem to go on for a while. I think you get what you pay for here which is not a lot, I just which I could give it a "meh" rating rather than a thumbs up.
Cant go wrong for 5 bucks. Pros - Like the building system. its simple and easy to do. the knife feels solid. Like, you really feel the knife when you stab an enemy, especially wood shooting system is solid. Firing and reloading has no issues no issues with hit detection. Most cheap games you have to swing a ton of times to hit the enemy, not here Cons- i though it was open world. It appears to be only defending the base The sound is good, but it fakes you out thinking there are enemies behind you when there isnt any. Its hard to tell where an enemy is coming from. cant skip dialogue. There is allot of it early on. Overall, if you have 5 dollars you cant go wrong.
This has a lot of potential and I can see this being really fun as a fully fleshed out, open world story survival, Green Hell sort of experience. Even though there was no smooth turn, the graphics leave a little more to be desired, the dialogue had some grammatical errors, and the game is only an hour long, there was still a great atmosphere and there were times where I would genuinely be scared. There's a criminally low number of vr survival games so, I think this would be great as a full-fledged game.
Game is about an hour long. Snap turning only, smooth locomotion with vignette toggle, and contains a few brutally low-res textures. Other than that - I don't regret my fiver.
se traba y no te deja entrar no se lo compren
I didn't make it past 30 sec of actual game-play due to everything in the game wasting my time.
I played until the ending. This game is a story-driven game, and I like the helicopter scene. I'm waiting for the infinite survival mode lol
I only managed to play for like 30 minutes until it black screened. I believe it has something to do with the vignette or whatever its called. But what i did play i really enjoyed and wish i coulda finished it. If the dev looks at this i would love if they fixed it. I recommend for those who can play it.
