funny Little game hopefully it gets more crazy content and map upgrade
its fun
As a 7 Days to Die fan, great game. Great vision and concepts, super impressive that one person made this, mad respect. Here are my thoughts on what can be improved: -Sound balancing Many sounds I found to be either very loud or very quiet, each time a thunderstorm comes the rain and thunder is deafening, I couldn't find any way to lower just the rain while keeping everything else the same volume. I like to play with increased zombie count, when encountering them in large numbers, it seems like each one does continuous groaning/zombie sounds, and they seem to stack to become louder and louder, I find this especially annoying when raiding the laboratories. -Brightness Even with my brightness settings on full, every time dawn and dusk comes the entire world becomes near pitch black. Unless I use my flashlight or night vision, literally can't see 2 feet in front of me. -Physics and collision Zombies are able to damage me through solid walls and doors if I stand too close, however I can do the same to them with melee weapons, allowing cheese strats if done right. Some of the dirt patches areas on sloped surfaces you can't walk on, you quite literally slide right off, perfectly drivable with full grip though, I don't know if this is an oversight or on purpose, i just find it weird. You can also drive completely fine submerged in water, no consequences except for vehicle damage and acceleration reduction. -Zombie respawn mechanics Enemy respawns are kinda jank. If I were to load a previous save, an area that was cleared right before the save was created would have every dead zombie respawned, bosses included. Just my personal opinion but I think the boss zombies are too fast for how tanky they are, massive size and massive damage, shouldn't be able to easily outpace you unless you sprint. -Ammunition caliber power Higher caliber rounds should have more stopping power and damage, aside from marginally higher damage, a 9mm and 7.62mm feels the exact same, no targets shot have any stun and stagger as a result, it feels like shooting them with a BB gun sometimes. Bigger ammo types should have the ability to pierce and rip through several zombies in a row, I found it surprising when a single normal zombie is able to tank and stop a .50 BMG from piercing. Taking a page from 7 Days to Die, I'd love to see more destructable environments and zombie types, and for the love of god please add a button to instantly transfer all contents of a storage container to your inventory, and vice versa, as well as another button that will transfer all existing stacks of an item in your inventory to the storage container if the container has the item inside. Having different types of ammunition would be great too, would be sick if there was an incendiary round for shotguns, or slugs, and other variants for normal ammo, for example armor piercing rounds. Overall awesome game, deserves more recognition, really hits all the buttons for me, really need to fix the crashing issues however, repeatedly having my save files getting corrupted and unplayable really puts a dampener on the overall enjoyable experience.
