SuperSpec Rallycross

Brilliant developer! This game is the indie-epitome version of "easy to pick-up; hard to master". Every track feels handcrafted and I would say there is a solid amount of variety in terms of location, style, and length among the core tracks. Most of my time has been spent in time-trials, dissecting the tracks and squeezing out hundredths. This is where the game shines the most in my opinion. To me, it feels as though that was one of the core design choices; making a driving system that rewards tight driving. There is an element of "flow state" that is ever-present. The physics work out in a way where you can gain speed from the right drift and it all comes together like a symphony on the well crafted tracks. I will say, the story mode is quite easy at all difficulties, and there appears to be no variety in cars, mechanically speaking (There are a healthy bunch of unique models though! Rally Legends and Modern Beasts). But this works out in time-trialing's favor in my opinion, since everyone gets an even shot - now just in their own color scheme. The developer is active to this day and still working on updates and answering the community! I bought the game on sale and I can happily say it would be worth the full $10 if you are into time-trial hunting. Also great if you want a casual rallycross game. Races are short, can run on a SMALL potato, driving is intuitive and masterful... what more can you ask for from an indie gem? 10/10 hidden gem for my fellow time-trial enjoyers

This game is so much fun. One of my favourite games on Steam. It's addictive in a good way in that you just want one more go to perfect your racing line, braking distance and when to turn into a corner. The more you play the more precise you get. Trying to limit sliding too much or cutting corners as much as possible. It's just perfect arcade fun. The controls and handling of the car are very well done. It has a unique feel that is super smooth to play. That adds to enjoyment of the game. The rallycross tracks provide road or dirt surfaces to race on and work so well in being interesting and challenging in a fun way. The track design is really well done. There's good attention to detail which make this game just wonderful. I like the fireworks to indicate the last lap, that's a nice touch. The announcer sounds great too. Joker laps in a racing game is interesting. Overall presentation is very polished and excellent. It's quick to get into and play which I like. There's a few iconic rally cars to be unlocked as well. That's great for rally fans. A minor downside is that single player mode is slightly easy on the hardest difficulty. I had played every track beforehand via time trials though so had plenty of practice before completing the game. It's competitive enough to not be too harsh and makes you want to finish all races. I think that's a good thing and the difficulty suits the nature of the game. The most fun racing is in the Time Trial mode trying to get the fastest lap for each track and be on top of the Global Leaderboard. Finishing in the top 10 or 20 on the Leaderboard for each track is competitive and feels great.

Its a nice arcade. Doesn't support 5120x1440 resolution but after the last update graphics got much better.

Borzasztóan cuki játék. Bár sajnos nem motiváló benne az hogy csak az autókat gyűjtögetjük. Egy nagy bajnokság jó lenne,meg kamera váltás is. Ezeken kívül jó,bár picit sok az ár érte,főleg amilyen rövid. De aranyos,megéri kipróbálni :)

Il y a des indications d'âge pour les jeux. +12 +16 +18. Et c'est très bien. Seulement comme il y a des Plus il faudrait aussi des Moins. Pour les jeux à destination des enfants. SuperSpec Rallycross aurait son logo -10 car c'est ce qu'il est : Un jeu de course en top down ultra simplifié destiné aux enfants. Même en difficulté extrême, il n'y a pas de challenge. Même s'il mérite quelques ajustements pour devenir sympa, il n'est pas complètement mauvais, mais il est clairement à réserver à un jeune public. Donc pouce rouge parce que je regrette de l'avoir acheté.

Nothing wrong with the driving experience but all the tracks are way too short. Very little replayability after one hour. Refunded.

Review on the 11th of April 2026 (there is no other Review done on the 21st of December 2025 by me, this is a mistake in the Steam system). If you like arcade racing games, get this now! This game is such a blast to play! It is a lot of fun to drive, and I just love the graphics. And the difficulty is now (from update 2.0.1) just right, and on the easiest setting it can be a bit challenging but not too much. Finally a rallycross game, that is arcade and includes the Joker Lap game mechanic! A very unique arcade rallycross experience. The game has analog throttle control, brakes are still on/off like a handbrake / emergency brake. All in all this does suit the rallycross driving style, and it is nice to have the analog throttle for some kind of control on the gravel. And as a bonus, it also has up to 4 players split screen play for couch gaming.
