SUPERHOT is the smash-hit FPS where time moves only when you move. No regenerating health bars. No conveniently placed ammo drops. It's you, alone, outnumbered and outgunned. Snatch weapons from fallen enemies to shoot, slice and dodge through a truly cinematic hurricane of slow-motion bullets.

This is one of the most original games I've ever played. Its addicting and fun, I recommend it to anybody who wants something different and unusual. It's an experience, not just a game, its different, play it is the only thing I can say.
I am not really an FPS person, played The Darkness on PS3 and little more, so I was out off by the "boomer shooter" description as I expected a tough game that would be above my skill level. And despite playing on a Steam Deck, my only gripe is that the game was too short. You definitely have a lot of wiggle room to play around, picking weapons and trying to do needlessly complicated shots (as enemies die in one hit). You can even try to do challenges like a no-shoot run or only throwing stuff; that's how flexible the core mechanic is.
