SUPERHOT is the smash-hit FPS where time moves only when you move. No regenerating health bars. No conveniently placed ammo drops. It's you, alone, outnumbered and outgunned. Snatch weapons from fallen enemies to shoot, slice and dodge through a truly cinematic hurricane of slow-motion bullets.

"It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years." The game is pretty good in all seriousness. It's influence is felt in recent games like I Am Your Beast and Severed Steel where a core part of the gameplay is catching weapons out of the air after killing opponents to keep the flow going. But the difference of course is time only moving when you move. This makes the game more strategic and methodical at first, but after a certain point can you start moving like it's real-time. The gameplay is super simple: shoot, punch, and throw objects at enemies, then steal their weapons and repeat. Campaign is super short, but there are challenges and an endless mode to keep you going, and of course you can replay levels afterward. Overall I recommend to scratch that "John Wick simulator" itch.

THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS
the slowed time mechanic and
the hotswap ability
genuinely makes this the most innovative shooter ive played in years :3
pretty short, but is one of a kind
This is a very cool game. I enjoyed the gameplay a lot and the "story" was kind of interesting, but I'm happy that I waited for a sale to buy it. It was less than an hour and a half to complete so I would have returned it if I had bought it at full price. I bought with a 70% off sale so I'll keep it and try to finish achievements at some point. Edit: I opened the game up again a few days after "finishing" the campaign and found that there's more scenarios available. I don't know how much more content there is.
