Time moves when you move, use it to kill all enemies and survive. Great concept and really good game, like the original SUPERHOT. But, even if it's good, I'd say the original is still better. Still, if you like the formula, I think you'll enjoy this one too. Overall, it's just kinda more of the same time/moving stuff. But this one is more complex and feels more arcade-ish. More enemy types and abilities, like mind control, which is cool. But I loved how you had to deal with the simplicity of the previous game. Some levels have random stuff that prevent you from planning routes. The story is still crazy weird, and the graphics are the exact same. Overall, it's worth playing, but don't expect it to be better than the first.
This game is a great continuation of the original, the gameplay is expanded upon in many ways, there are new enemies, weapons and the introduction of hacks and cores is a good addition (even though they vary in viability). The story is more straightforward than the first game but it's still mysterious and engaging. In terms of achievements they are very merciful in what you need to do (I got 9/14 in 98 minutes) so that's a plus. Overall this game is a great evolution of the first and I'd highly recommend it 8/10
Really fun base gameplay and concept but as soon as they introduce the immortal guy and the exploding guys and the armored guy just every shake up to the formula is bad.
I loved the first game, this one is a complete letdown aside from having flashy abilities, few new guns and a little more polish: Story and how they present is damn boring, over the top, smug, it's just bad. The first game gave us the same "warnings" but first created some connection. We were the guy who wanted to play. This time I was the guy waiting to see when the good part starts and it never did... And by that I didn't mean solely story, I mostly meant game play. I already mentioned what's good about the game in the first section. Now, everything else, which is arguably as important if not more, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ missing from the game. Look at largely popular game like Doom Eternal, Ultrakill or something like Skyrim, Witcher and others. The first group has deep gameplay mechanics which have virtually no skill ceiling and the game requires it to be brought up. The second one has pretty shallow mechanics but amazing story, or lore, or characters... You see the problem here? This exact game has nothing. No challenge, no deep mechanics, no proper story or lore (just devs reveling in their understanding of the world). The reason the first game was good is that it had set up scenarios that got more challenging towards the end - a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzle. Hence a challenge was there. This game turned towards complete randomness and introduced harder enemies which feel less like actual difficulty but more like a luck check. I am genuinely frustrated since I enjoyed the first game so much, watched the whole 30 mins chat (♥♥♥♥'s fun), and completed all challenges in one sitting. This game kept me wanting to close it(shame I'm hunting for achievements), I this fact never changed. Play the first game, the polish that everyone talks about is extremely subtle. This game itself feels like an inferior product (and don't get me started on the 2.5 hour wait)
Man. I tried so hard to enjoy this. The gameplay is still fun... but where's the intrigue? Where's the story? This isn't even nostalgia blindness for the original, it's just out-right missing what drew me into the original. Maps are a repeating slog of randomly spawning enemies, and now you have health? There's nothing particularly fun about the maps either. Part of the fun of the OG SUPERHOT was figuring out the puzzle that the maps put before you. But nothing about the maps is handcrafted with care, and the level layouts are just... meh. I found myself running around trying to find the enemy often. Meanwhile, the enemy was right behind me beating me with a baseball bat. I just wasn't impressed. It's SUPERHOT, but it's missing the soul imo. (I refunded this).
This game is the best reason why Poland and the polish people shouldn't exist. THE BEST THING ABOUT THE LAST GAME, THE "SUPER ---- HOT" actually is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying here The grey red enemies are bugged and it sucks, more or less everything in this game will have you encounter a bug once or twice, throwing, shooting, katana, jumping... The longest level is Core 100, I believe 100 of the same maps repeated over and over again, with 8 upgrades every 10 or so levels, I just came out of this ♥♥♥♥ after 90 minutes of consecutive gameplay that got ruined either because of a bug (the character not hitting where you're aiming) or just complete randomness ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you in the ass. Like you standing in front of an enemy spawn node and one of the suicide bombers comes out, it just feels like a big "♥♥♥♥ YOU" to play this because, sure its fun, but it's definitely not an experience anyway near the first game Like its REALLY REALLY repetitive, and so frigging long, that you can't possibly finish it all in one sitting if you're in for a relaxed time. I HAD 30 MINUTES OF BREAK IN BETWEEN TWO BLOCKS of 30 MINUTES OF GAMETIME AND IT WAS JUST boring, unimaginative and repetitive, like yeah the game is cool but it's not 23€ cool or even 9€ cool, get it under 5 and you'll probably have a fair and good deal If you don't like frustrating designs with buggy things The minibosses suck very much as well, because for some reason in a game about killing and getting killed and UPLOADING YOUR MIND TO A COMPUTER, you'll for some reason get UNKILLABLE enemies, that you'll have to dodge, just like the stupid traps, it's all so densely packed that turning around to see if where you're going is safe just gets you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killed.

It is more fun to me than the first SUPERHOT, but I see the lack of level variety in a year 2020 game as an absolute sin.
