There is a mode that was never released for this game. There is no sense of season mode, so it's just a concept of a game. I can't recommend this game simply because the developers never finished it.
I've had the game for years and waited a long time for the anticipated and promised season mode. Now that it's here and having spent some time with it, very glad I revisited the game. It's always been pretty chaotic fun and now it's made even better because the new modes add replayablity to it that's sorely lacking when you have no friends to share with. The retro charm of the 8-bit graphics and music make this feel like something on the NES, the combination of sports on display is well done, and there's so much charm to it all. You don't have to like sports games to really have some fun with this because it's not your typical sports game.

ok, so this game is my stress release game. If you've played double dribble or Blades of steel, you will LOVE this game. it is in pre-season mode, And yesterday I had the pleasure of playing the full season mode demo with the developer. I've playtested a lot of games in my day, But I will say I had the most fun with this one, We laughed, we talked about the game and he answered all the questions with genuine sincerity. When the season mode drops, This game will be even more legit than it already is. PLAY THIS GAME.
Super Slam Dunk Letdown
Music is good, the game is bad. Core gameplay isn't deep enough. Just play Nekketsu Kunio kun games instead.
Really fun game. It's a shame it doesn't have online co-op though
If you like party games, then this is the game for you. Whether you like sports or not, you will enjoy this game! All of the sports in one game!
Super Slam Dunk Touchdown is a goofy game where a team of football, hockey, roller derby, and/or whatever other sportplayers kick or throw a bowling bowl or hockey puck or basketball or baseball or whatever downfield and try to 1) kick it into a soccer goal for one point, 2) kick it between the pipes of a field goal for two points, or 3) make a basket for three points. It's fun for a little bit, mostly for the novelty of playing the variety of sports. Unfortunately, the game is ultimately pretty flat. There's a little variation in playstyle between the different players but in the end, gameplay is just: pass to your teammate before getting tackled, try to avoid the goalie moving across the goal mouth and score one of the points. I played on Steam Deck and it worked fine.
True hidden gem! Multiple goal system is fresh. Random events and option to play random athletes with random balls hepling to spice it up. Main campaing feels too easy on first season, I've almost drop the game there, but later it starts to be challenging and more engaging. Price is an issue for a game this small in my opinion, but if I recall it correctly I've got it on a sale
