Super Slam Dunk Touchdown

Alright, this is my review for SSDT! As previous reviews said, if you like arcade, fast-paced action sports games, this one is for you! Choose your favorite athlete and you're ready to go! You can customize about everything about the match; Time per period, number of periods, arena size, what kind of ball appears, events that can occur right in the middle of the match, the number of points given depending on how the goal was scored, etc. You can also select from 4 different colors for your team. Different kind of sports means different kinds of goals to be scored. You can shoot in the net (with or without a keeper), shoot in the hoop or aim for a long toss between american football posts. Each athlete has different kind of shots, try them all to find your favorite one! The AI can be harsh sometimes but you can edit its skill as well. Couple downsides though. There is no online multiplayer mode (I secretly hope for one in the future) and the price may seem a bit out of reach for some people. TL;DR Bought it yesterday, quick matches, fun game, worth its price IMO. Good job Tipping Goat!

This game is pretty awesome! Great fun if you have a few people to come over and play it with you. Controls are smooth and all around its a pretty fun rediculous game. My only real complaint is that the shots can take a bit too long to charge up with how easy it is to defend. Personally I think just a bit faster charge and the game would be perfect. Has a good oldschool feel to it and all the different players seems fairly well balanced except for the baseball player feels a bit weak as his shot is even slower to get off than all the rest. I also feel the price is a bit high, $10 is about where I feel would be good value for the game. Overall I would give this game 8/10.

This game just received a new update ~10 years after release! Fun retro-inspired game with a lot of good humor with one of my favorites being a "deflate gate" reference. Recommended.

I don't understand how anyone can't like this game. Its literally every sport rolled into one

Si vous êtes nostalgique des jeux de sports et des party games de la fin des années 80 sur NES, n'attendez plus une seconde pour chopper ce jeu. Si le concept de mélanger tout plein de sports de terrain vous branche bien, allez-y aussi. Franchement très bon jeu, une idée toute simple qui donne sur un gameplay bien fouillé et équilibré (chaque sportif différent est en fait une classe de perso avec ses caractèristiques). Réalisé sans défauts, ou bien à la limite une poignée de glitchs mineurs si on veut chipoter (rien qui n'entrave le gameplay). L'esthétique rétro est extrêment bien respectée, on est au point où j'ai vraiment l'impression de jouer à un jeu annulé sur un émulateur NES (si on exclue le fait que le jeu fonctionne avec 4 boutons en plus de start). Cerise sur le gateau, le jeu est toujours mis à jour avec de nouvelles features (la prochaine serait le mode championnat), le développeur est à l'écoute des joueurs sur le forum de Steam et parfois demande des suggestions pour son jeu. Seuls bémols, la bande son est très fidèle a celle des jeux de sports sur cartouche, trop fidèle même, le bruit de buzzer peut se réveler relativement agaçant pour certains. Un autre problème est l'absence de mode en ligne intégré (le développeur en est conscient car tout le monde le lui réclame, mais il se concentre sur la prochaine mise à jour à l'heure où j'écris, et se contente pour le moment d'un bricolage posté sur le forum Steam. Rien de concret en gros.), vous allez donc devoir inviter vos amis chez vous pour taper sur autre chose que de l'IA. Et en parlant de l'IA, cette dernière n'est pas très très finaude, même en difficulté maximale, elle reste très bourrine et pas très apte à la tactique. Pour finir, je recommande ce jeu car je me suis beaucoup amusé dessus. J'ai très hâte d'avoir le mode championnat disponible vu que j'en ai fini avec les challenges. Une grosse tranche de rigolade.

I've been holding off for along time on buying this game & it's a shame because it's a bad ass game. on my first game play i already have 3 hours playing X) <3 Here are my only request: 1.) CPU VS CPU would be great to watch a game while eating XP 2.) Create a tournament 3.) 4 vs 4 instead of 3 vs 3 on being the highest limit of players playable (I have 3 nephews and you know they going to fight over who's going to be in Tio Winning Team.) X) anyways i also want to say i love this games theme really smart on how to make points 4.) Wish there were more characters to unlock in the different kinds of sport teams

Really fun game. It's a shame it doesn't have online co-op though
