The title says it all. Take one part falling block puzzle game, combine one part old-school platformer, add a couple thousand pixels, blend and serve. Why match colored blocks when you can just shoot the hell out of them? Your goal is to survive as long as you can. From celebrated indie developer Andrew Morrish and Adult Swim Games.

Why is this so much less fun than the original? It feels like everything kills you instantly in this one.

time between dying to starting over is too long. also, a proper tutorial would have been appreciated. some characters like the ninja are too slippery, like a tap of the controller will send you sliding half a block which makes precision very difficult. im sure there is more to like but its frustrating to play the game.
REMOVE THE SCREEN SHAKE
Too punishing too early on, no instructions, random things that instantly kill you are not fun.
Absolutely terrible. No tutorial. No way to see controls, you can only rebind ALL controls at once and guess what might be sensible.
This is a really interesting blend on matching puzzle games and platforming. You aim to let as many blocks fall as you can to build up combos by match colors but it's a lot more challenging than it looks. There are lots of hazards to throw you off and you have to make sure not to blow out the floor below you! It's great in quick bursts and I can see this as a kind of game you'll leave installed for a while and hop in and out of when you have a few minutes here and there.
Innovative and challenging gameplay, a ton of different levels, obstacles and challenges and overall a very rewarding and fun experience. The game doesn't pull punches, and players are expected to survive at least 3 minutes against unforgiving enemies which end your game in a single hit. I think for some this could be a frustrating experience if you struggle against certain enemies or are bad at the game. But for me it was a fun and rewarding experience to figure out how to exploit enemy patterns or arrange the blocks in preparation for enemy waves. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys tough puzzle games and retro-style platformers like Super Meat Boy, Puyo Puyo, VVVVVV and Mr Driller. It's got that similar "One More Game" feel where the game is hard, but your deaths feel deserved, and you want to play again to beat your best score.
Loved playing this game. Alone and with friends. Highly recommended!
