Super Lesbian Animal RPG

Got bored as hell playing Omori and got this instead. Totally worth it. 10/10 If you are a lesbian or just fans of them, this is the game for you.

I got it sort of as a joke because look haha ultiamte woke game but it's actually my favorite game now...

Very cute design, however I couldn't really get into it. Something about the pacing of gameplay and dialogue makes this a slog to play through, even at an estimate of only about 20h. Whenever you play a game produced in the RPG Maker engine you gotta hope it either ditches the combat entirely or innovates and rewrites so much of it that it becomes interesting to play; The small extra features to the combat unfortunately don't make it interesting enough to play, and it moves too slowly for my personal tastes. Unfortunately so does the dialogue; You can't really skip through parts that don't interest you very much, and there's a lot of twee little relationship-establishing dialogue that yes, is cute, but no, isn't very interesting. It's definitely for someone! But unfortunately, it's not for me.

Wait, I never reviewed this game? That's gotta change! I couldn't put it down - played through start to finish on deck and loved it. Great writing, great characters, fantastic music. Go play it!

She SLARP on my- wait no.. um... She SLA- no, No. hm... She... sh- She Super Lesbian on my RPG until I Animal? I like it but be forewarned! Games that play into tropes in a joking or light-hearted way play into tropes! Who'd of thunk it? This isn't super crazy everything-is-revolutionary writing, its fun and cute so if that's what you want, play it!

I wish i could enjoy it, but the RPG maker limitation to key rebinding makes it troublesome. I use a 60% keyboard which means i don't have arrow keys (instead needing to use FN+i/j/k/l), which makes it very tedious to move and interact in menus. The concept seems really fun and interesting, but without a means of rebinding the movement keys, i had to refund it. If more control rebinding is added (or move keys are swapped to wasd), i would gladly repurchase the game.

I loved playing this game! It has a captivating and emotional story, simple game mechanics, and feels very balanced. There were two points where I had to "grind" for one or two level ups, but the game never felt unfair. It's a simple turn-based RPG that lets you build a team that can win with relative ease, but it also allows you to build more creative teams that make the game more challenging. I can't overstate how much I enjoyed the story, though! I played the game on Linux, and almost everything worked well. It had some trouble going full-screen, so I played in windowed mode, which made the game a tiny bit smaller but didn't stop me from having a lot of fun. I also love the amount of queer representation in it <3
