Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC

Unless you're looking for a very easy, very simple, extremely basic arcade racer that looks nice, this is very hard to recommend. It has many plus points: it looks lovely with cell-shaded cartoon graphics and pretty track visuals - the art style is nice. At it plays really smoothly, perhaps even too smoothly to feel gritty or realistic but nonetheless feels very polished and optimised. First impression are good, for the price. But the top-down race genre is extremely competitive and there are high expectation which mean that even as a casual arcade racer it is lacking, because it has - literally - zero depth. Think that's hyperbole? Firstly, it's easy - really easy. I could barely feel any difference across the 4 leagues and completed the game with no sweat in around 2 hours. There is no replayability after that except to wipe and do it all over. The AI cars just follow a line unless knocked off it, and its never the fastest line The only challenge is that you always start from last. There are 4 car models each with 3 skins which have no customisation whatsoever. And the cars behave identically as far as I could see. If there are any nuances between them there no no stats or anything to point it out, and you can win any race in any car. They are all available from the start - there is no unlocking or progression in this game at all. The handling is benign, there no oversteer at all only minor understeer (although weirdly the graphics show smoke from the back wheels) and while fluid-feeling has no excitement or variation. You'll seldom need to brake, and hardly even lift off the gas The tracks look nice and are well designed but samey after a while. There are only really 3 types of corners. There are no useful options. You cant change res or graphics, cant change volume even, just turn sound off or on. Doesn't really matter as the music is mid and the engine / driving sounds pretty poor. No mods or 2p (or need for them to be honest) Basically it isn't really a game, as we know it - more like a proof of concept or a tech demo which is not too much of a reach as the dev has a strong history of top down racers. If that is the case then I applaud the dev for the technicals - the look and feel and production are clean, pretty and smooth. But as a game it really doesn't offer very much, sorry to say.

Its a $5 game.. it is what it is No settings for anything except music on/off , sound effects on/off controllers only , no keyboard and mouse support bare bones gameplay.. pick your favorite looking car, you start at the lowest tier, race all the races in that tier then move to the next, and so on RT for throttle, left trigger brake , left thumbstick to steer , you can change from 3 camera angles.. not sure how, nothing tells you anything thats it.. no fluff, no frills, AI thinks its demolition derby after a handful of races it gets kinda boring its a $5 game, it is what it is I would pick neutral review.. but ya cant.. so I gave it a yes to recommended .. its $5

Compreendo e respeito a proposta do desenvolvedor: criar jogos como hobby. No entanto, cobrar por um projeto desse nível? Seria mais aceitável se estivesse disponível gratuitamente no itch.io. Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC – Velocidad, emoción y pura diversión 🏁🚗💨 Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC me gustó muchísimo y me divertí un montón jugándolo. Es un juego de carreras lleno de adrenalina, con una gran sensación de velocidad y controles que se sienten súper fluidos. Las pistas están muy bien diseñadas, los autos tienen personalidad, y cada carrera es un desafío emocionante que te mantiene al borde del asiento. Ideal tanto para los fans del género como para quienes buscan una experiencia divertida y directa. ¡Gracias por este gran juego de carreras que me hizo pasar muy buenos momentos!

Very simple, basic and easy. I don't mind that. It's nice to second monitor podcasts or talking videos to games like that. But the save data got erased which is why I am not recommending it. And 100%ing this game in one sitting is far too tedious even if it is a short time. Also, I don't think this game is worth more than €1.

Demnach ist der Leistungumfang etwas gering, auch wenn es an sich ein ganz nettes Rennspiel ist. Leider ist es aber halt auch absolut nichts besonderes und aufs wesentliche reduziert. Was gut getan hätte: verschiedene Cups, Story, Modi, Multiplayer, Minispiele, verrückte Autos, oder Besonderheiten beim Fahren. Es ist zwar solide, aber absolut basic - müsst ihr wissen. Rating: Dito: 2.5/5 Chat: 3/5 Gesamt: 2.75/5
