I don't know. There are some things to like here: mostly the tracks and general presentation. But the bad handling which feels like you have configured have your controller range as a dead zone, paired with the mountain of DLCs they keep pumping like there is no tomorrow makes this hard to recommend. There was a patch a while ago that added an alternative, so called improved handling model, but to be honest I found it worse than the original one. After a few hours you still get used to the handling of course, that's why we have a brain, right. But getting used to it and enjoying it are still two different things, If you absolutely feel you need to try it, maybe wait for a gold edition that includes everything, and maybe by then there will be a third handling mode that is any better. It's a pity. 6/10

The best casual formula game yet, with enough realism to keep one engaged and challenged. Fun.

For a game that's supposed to be an arcade style F1 racer, it tries very hard not to be. The weather conditions are far from consistent. Rain stopping in one Era on a track will have a completely different duration on a different Era in the same track. You can't time your tire changes properly and have to restart your race after you figure out you can keep your Wets 2-3 laps after it says the rain is stopping. Walls are far too punishing for a non-sim F1 game. You can barely scrape the wall at a 5 or 6 degree angle and you'll stop dead in your tracks. No skidding, no trading paint, just immediate stop. Don't even think about backing up. It simulates the whole shifting gears and backing up at 1-2 mph. You're better off resetting your car on the track. Overall, this game can't decide if it wants to be a sim or and arcade F1, and quite frankly the distinction makes for inconsistent and frustrating gameplay.

even at lower graphics settings the game simply refuses to operate. the "improved" handling feels heavy and extremely unsatisfying, even though the AI seems to have a much easier time of doing it than you do. half of the generations of formula racing are behind a DLC paywall and none of the cars actually seem to be better or worse than the other. the search for a good, casual racer that's not forza continues.

Bon petit jeu de course arcade. Sympa de commencer avec des F1 des années 60 et d'avancer de décennie en décennie. Je confirme que l'IA est conne à bouffer du foin et pas fair-play du tout. mais en soignant ses trajectoires, et en ayant un minimum de stratégie concernant les pit-stops, il y a moyen de gagner même au niveau de difficulté max. Cela reste un "petit" jeu mais vous en aurez pour votre argent. Je ne pensais pas y passer autant de temps. PS: ça marche nickel sous Linux Bazzite

I mostly playes sims. But this just also captures the feeling of racing, it reminds me of old time and the visuals looks really good. I guess the visuals will make this timeless. For me this is a 10 out of 10 for an easy to play arcade game.

Very good, fun blend of arcade and slight realism. The handling feels great, and tire deg + weather effects work fantastic. Tracks are great, although AI can be a little inconsistent still. Great game overall though, and tons of gameplay time to beat all eras/seasons! 9/10

This should have been couple of games, to make due every historical period, not to make an intro from it. So a lot of potential lost on overextending and downplaying interesting features that they actually managed to make. + Fun style. - Some tracks were really killed for sake of the copyright. Not stable, bad UW support. Paywals. "B-" Good idea wasted by trying to be everything at the same time.

Ich war zu dem Zeitpunkt, wo ich das schrieb kaputt von der Woche und es war spät!🙃 Ich gliedere meine Bewertung in 3 Abschnitte wie folgt: 1. Mein Gesamteindruck 🔆 2. Persönliches Steam-Problem mit BITTE um Hilfe❓ 3. Wünsche an den Entwickler und Community 📜 1. Nach nur kurzer Zeit, kann ich als Formel 1 Fan nur sagen: KLASSE! Ja, man sollte sich definitiv die entsprechenden mods herunterladen für den richtigen F1 Flair. Die mods sind erstaunlich gut und historisch gut umgesetzt. toll! Es ist ein Arcade Game und trotzdem finde ich mich als langjähriger "SimRacer" hier wieder. Um gegen die KI auf höherem Schwierigkeitsgrad zu bestehen, bedarf es eine entsprechende Präzision und Streckenkenntnis. Die eingetippten Befehle kommen im Game genau so an, dass man mit etwas Übung die Sachen wirklich umgesetzt bekommt und somit sauberes Fahren kein Zufallsprodukt wird. Grafik ist für das, was es sein soll auch echt schick. Ich erlebe auch keine auffälligen bugs. Insgesamt spielt sich das Game als fertig und macht mega spaß! Hoffentlich freuen sich einige Leute genauso sehr wie ich mich auf den Multiplayer! 😀 2. Ich finde es so gut, dass ich mir nach ein paar Stunden bereits sämtliche DLCs gekauft habe. Mir als F1- und Motorsportfan war der rabattierte Preis es auf jeden fall wert! Leider habe ich das Problem, dass mir im Spiel die DLCs immer noch hinter einer Paywall angezeigt (Spiel und DLC's direkt über Steam erworben) werden, trotz Kontrollhäkchen bei den DLC's in der Spieleinstellung bei steam... kann mir jemand sagen wie man das Problem löst? Steam kann es nicht, mit denen hatte ich schon Kontakt und vom Spielehersteller habe ich noch keine Antwort 😔 3. Ein paar Punkte möchte ich anmerken und hoffe, dass diese für ein noch größeres Spieleerlebnis umgesetzt werden: -gern das komplette Fahrerfeld fahren lassen, oder den Nutzer entsprechend seiner Rechnerleistung aussuchen lassen. 14 Fahrer sind schon echt nice, aber schöner wären natürlich die 20 :D -online-modus bis 20-22 Spieler wäre dann auch super, da man dann wirklich über authentischen Ligabetrieb und Online-Wettkämpfe like F1 esport nachdenken könnte -bei zunehmendem Schwierigkeitsgrad wäre es toll, wenn die Ki auch strategisch schlauer agieren könnte in Sachen Pit-Stop-Timing -die strategische Komponente der Benzinauffüllung fehlt. Schön wenn man Tanken kann, jedoch überflüssig, wenn man nie Tanken muss. Der Wunsch wäre, dass man am Start sich Tankbefüllung aussuchen könnte und das sich die Autogeschwindigkeit adäquat zur Tankfüllung verhält. -Qualifying darf gern mit Reifenverschleiß und Stints sein. Und zumindest im Online-Modus könnten die Qualifying-Abschnitte mit in- und Outlap umgestetzt werden, wie geil wäre das. -einen Replay-modus mit TV-Kamera und Perspektiven wie an den echten Rennstrecken (Ampelstartkamera, Kurvenkamera, Onboard-kamera etc.) -Die Übertragungskamera für Zuschauende in online-lobbys ermöglichen (zwecks Streaming und Kommentatorfunktion Letztendlich fehlen mir noch ein paar Punkte aus den offiziellen F1- "Simulatione" nur halt auf Formula Legends zugeschnitten 😆 Die Liste an Wünschen ist lang und dennoch würde ich gern noch mehr aufzählen :D Die Mühe mache ich mir jedoch nicht, weil das Spiel schlecht ist, sondern weil ich es so gut finde, dass ich hoffe, dass das Spiel noch größer und besser wird, als es eh schon ist. Daher ist das alles keine Kritik sondern lediglich wünsche eines Fans. Good Drive 🤠
