For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super Dark Deception is an inventive reinterpretation of the original Dark Deception, transforming its first-person survival horror into a retro-inspired 2D action adventure while preserving the heart-pounding tension that fans expect. Instead of relying on realistic visuals, the game embraces a vibrant pixel-art style reminiscent of classic 16-bit titles, creating an experience that feels nostalgic without sacrificing suspense. The shift in perspective gives the game a unique identity, proving that frightening encounters and relentless chases can remain just as effective in a side-scrolling format. It successfully captures the spirit of the original while introducing mechanics and presentation that stand comfortably on their own. The game's strongest feature is its fast-paced gameplay, which revolves around navigating dangerous mazes, collecting soul shards, and escaping a variety of horrifying enemies. Every level demands quick reflexes, sharp observation, and careful route planning, as standing still is rarely an option. Rather than encouraging players to hide, Super Dark Deception rewards constant movement and split-second decisions. Although players eventually unlock abilities that can temporarily stun certain enemies, survival still depends on mastering movement and understanding each monster's behavior. This keeps every pursuit tense, especially as later stages introduce more aggressive and unpredictable threats. Its retro visuals deserve significant praise because they blend charming pixel art with unsettling creature designs and imaginative environments. Each nightmare realm is visually distinct, featuring colorful yet eerie settings filled with detailed animations that give personality to both the world and its inhabitants. The artistic direction demonstrates that horror does not require photorealistic graphics to create an intimidating atmosphere. Instead, expressive sprites, creative enemy designs, and dynamic animations combine to deliver memorable encounters that remain visually engaging throughout the adventure. Progression is handled through an RPG-inspired upgrade system that adds another layer of motivation beyond simply completing levels. As players collect experience, they unlock powers that improve mobility and increase their chances of surviving increasingly dangerous encounters. These upgrades never make the game feel effortless, but they do provide meaningful customization that complements different playstyles. The gradual sense of growth makes every completed stage feel rewarding while encouraging players to continue pushing through tougher challenges. Another highlight is the variety found in both the environments and enemy designs. Every nightmare introduces fresh mechanics, hazards, and monster behaviors that prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive. Environmental traps require players to remain aware of their surroundings, while each enemy possesses unique movement patterns and attack styles that force players to adapt rather than rely on a single strategy. Learning these behaviors becomes an important part of the experience, creating a satisfying balance between trial, error, and eventual mastery. The game's arcade-inspired structure also gives it strong replay value. Frequent checkpoints and quick restarts make repeated attempts less frustrating, encouraging players to improve their performance, optimize routes, and chase higher completion ratings. The increasing difficulty provides a rewarding challenge for those who enjoy testing their skills, while the collectible-based objectives offer additional reasons to revisit earlier levels. Its chapter-based content structure also allows the game to expand over time, with future chapters included for owners of the base game, adding long-term value to the overall package. Despite its many strengths, Super Dark Deception is not without flaws. Players looking for the immersive first-person horror of the original may need time to adjust to the retro presentation, and the repetitive objective of collecting shards can occasionally make the gameplay loop feel familiar after extended sessions. The difficulty also ramps up considerably, which may frustrate players seeking a more casual experience. Since the game is released in chapters, some may feel that the full experience is still evolving rather than being entirely complete. Overall, Super Dark Deception succeeds as both a faithful adaptation and a fresh reinterpretation of the Dark Deception formula. It combines frantic action, satisfying progression, memorable enemy encounters, and attractive pixel-art visuals into a horror adventure that feels energetic from beginning to end. By blending classic arcade sensibilities with modern design ideas, it delivers an experience that is challenging, entertaining, and highly replayable. Fans of retro action games and survival horror alike will find plenty to appreciate in its carefully crafted nightmare worlds. Rating: 7/10
The game was pretty good, until the 2nd chapter, why did you make it MUCH more complicated than in the main game? I'll list a few reasons why it's ♥♥♥♥:1 - In some sections, WAAAAY more shards than needed. 2 - Much harder bossfights. I died on joykill SO much cuz of his minions spawning, also, tf is there much more enemies in the joy land? I ain't no playing ts ♥♥♥♥ until you fix all these reasons.
