Carpe Dino: Seize the Date

Very fun game! Finished my first playthrough and going to try and get the best ending.

This game is a beautiful blend of art and storytelling. I just finished the first zone, and I’m really enjoying the dialogues so far—they add a lot of personality. If you like visual novels, dinosaurs, and the occasional mini-game, this is definitely worth checking out!

This is the devs first game so its a bit rough, but they definitely have an interesting idea going on. PROS: The art and music is quite charming, and there are some points in the narrative that are surprisingly poignant. Also some interesting lore which I wont spoil. CONS: The minigames are actually quite hard, maybe its just a skill issue thing but ive never won a minigame lol. There are still a bunch of bugs in regards to gameplay and sound. All in all, the game definitely has charm and character, it would shine more once the bugs get fixed.

Nice visual art and cutie dinos. There are multiple endings, so it is a good choice for those who love narrative stories. Gameplay is ok for me, looking forward to having a DLC

Great game. Interesting characters, heart warming and heart breaking story at the same time. A unique visual style in its own way. Just started playing through it, already looks promising

Fun game!

It's like a dream for people who were obsessed with dinos in their childhood and still haven't moved on. The datable characters are absolute cuties that you want to protect at all cost (and maybe start a polyamorous family with them, a couple of them are a perfect match of dummies) Side characters sometimes have some spicy stuff to say and do it beautifully. Generally the game has a nice plot, well written dialogs and lovable characters. And some exceptionally expressive arts for the named characters. The hardest part is making a choise, because leaving anyone behind feels heartbreaking. And some times minigames can cause some trouble, but they are still more managable than the heartbreaks.

understood some dante references, died more than in dark souls, was sacrificed hot enough, 10/10

A very well written narrative driven game with good art, good twists and good music. A trip that will get you to feel many different ways about the dinos and their fates. Still died a lot -_- (*angry old-man rantings*) A great debut to Black Squirrels Studio!
