All style, no substance. The story barely exists and what is there feels incredibly rushed. The creator's idea of lorebuilding is clearly just to vaguepost and call it a day. The gameplay has... some variation? I guess that's the nicest way to put it. After beating it I'm just thinking the developer could have made something way better if they had made this a webseries and diverted all of the programming time to more animating and storyboarding
and story drafting instead of just winging it
Only appeal is bunny and good animation, which isn't even the skeleton for a good game unless you think every 10 minute long itch.io indie horror game is peak art.
An absolutely incredible indie game, but do be warned, this game is just chapter 1 of the story, and as I presume, the author is planning to release more chapters as separate standalone games. Thus, you are NOT paying for the FULL game, you are paying for one part of it. I cant say I condone this methodology, considering there is realistically 2 hours of playtime in this game, not to mention 0 context clues as to this game series working on a "per chapter" basis. That said, its production quality is DEFINITELY a defining explanation as to why they may need the extra funding, so, id say give em a pass. But again, this game, is - The Bunny Graveyard - Chapter 1 I highly recommend going into this game blind Not much you really need to know to get into this game really So enjoy
This review is more neutral than negative, however overall I did feel the game could have done better. It's not a bad game by any means, more like 6.5 of 10. If you don't mind the (very reasonable) price and don't have overly high expectations, you should play it. Personally, I did enjoy some other retro horrors more. Strong points:

Animation is great
Voice work is great

Boxing
is great
Characters are good (except for
Silvie
, see below)
Weak points:

Timed minigames: very frustrating, and honestly I would not miss any of those (non-timed minigames were OK though,
boxing
was great).
One chapter only, ends on
cliffhanger
: size is completely fair for the price, but fact this is Chapter 1 is not explicitly mentioned in the title or anywere else I can see. Felt misleading.
Most dialogue was good, but
Silvie
was way too cliche:
"This world is not what you think it is!"
.
underrated gem went in blind and glad i did im lovin it :>
It's a great game, really. I love the graphics and the atmosphere. Really guys you should keep going in making games. Thanks for this!!!

Viva Puerto Rico!!! pleasantly underrated game, though am curious and a tad bit confused on the story and how part 2 works, but overall, had fun!!
