However, shot placement, power, and course knowledge still matter, and skilled players will consistently outperform others. The course design deserves a lot of credit. Every map introduces its own hazards, shortcuts, and opportunities for chaos. The presentation perfectly matches the game's personality. Bright, colorful environments, expressive animations, and music keep the mood lighthearted even when your friends are doing everything they can to blow your head smooth off. The items can also occasionally feel a little unfair, especially when several players decide that you're the one who isn't allowed to finish the hole. Have enough of those moments with the wrong people and it can really sour the experience.
