Sunset Mall

I'm very half and half with this game, I don't dislike it but I don't see myself returning to it in the future. I am a sucker for the style and music, but I also did not find that much enjoyment in the tedious gameplay and boring maps. Fortunately the developer is attentive to the players concerns and fixes some bugs from what I've seen in discussions, but that's not to say that as of right now it's buggy and uninteresting. It's not terrible though, so if you go in with the right expectations I think anyone could get an hour or two of fun from this, I just don't think it's replayable or worth a dollar.

Short, sweet, and nostalgic. Easily one of the best mall centric games I’ve played. Good 80’s 90’s vibes. The Good (+) Atmosphere - good vibes all around, even when/if muggers are running around. (+) Five difficulties, and all achievements can be obtained in easy/medium (+) Tutorial tells you all you need to know (+) Lots to explore (+) A good, soft hearted challenge (+) Game is as presented in a trailer The Meh (/) Wish there were more than just a few tracks on the soundtrack (/) Wish there was a fountain/bench interaction The Bad (-) Wasn’t sure what some items do in game – food court mostly Overall, great game and one of my favorite finds from the Winter 2025 sale.

fun little time killer with some good music

Great game, a little short but it very charming and the style and music make up for it. It has so much more potential. It's very nostalgic walking through the mall and seeing all the items you would want as a kid in the 80's and early 90's.
